"I was positively surprised at the quality of the food here. Be warned if you are sensitive to chili! Asian restaurants in Switzerland are typically bland and unexciting, so I ordered the chili basil with duck, which had a chili rating, the most spicy...available on the menu. Not only was the sauce tasty and spicy, it was super spicy! I almost cried it was so hot, and my mouth was burning for around 10 minutes afterwards. But the heat came from a combination of freshly crushed and sliced chilies, not powder or paste, and for chili aficionados this is an important difference. Overall the food was delicious, the flavours were fresh and snappy, and the rice perfectly cooked. The only negative I could say is that the duck was slighty overcooked for my taste, probably due to being so thinly sliced, but I'm really nit picking here and it didn't dampen the overall experience. It was also nice that they weren't afraid to use some soy sauce, and the salt level was good. Many Thai restaurants use too little salt and too much palm sugar, but not this place. I also enjoyed the house made spring rolls, there's a big difference between fresh and frozen spring rolls. This is actually a very good standard of Thai food, and I have eaten in many different Thai restaurants. The interior is a little cramped, but it's very cute the way they have decorated the place in the spirit of Thailand. I found the staff friendly and attentive. Seit fünf Jahren komme ich bei jedem Aarau-Aufenthalt zu euch zum Abendessen. Das Essen ist authentisch immer frisch zubereitet und lässt keine Wünsche offen.
