"This was a wonderful (and MUCH needed) stop for us hiking down from the submit of Tegelberg. There were lots of visitors to Mt Tegel dining here, having a beer, chatting and just taking a break before continuing their journey/hike. The atmosphere here is relaxed, chilled and very welcoming. The locals speak limited English and the menu is in Germany only. My partner very wisely chose the point-and-pick method of deciding on his lunch. He spied someone else eating goulash and said, “Yep, that’ll do fine!” I, on the other hand, was more…um, adventurous and promptly adopted the Russian roulette style of ordering my lunch from a menu I could barely decipher. All I can say is, sometimes, being adventurous with menus in a foreign land doesn’t always pay off. Despite assurances from the young fraulein behind the counter that it was a good pick, my bravely chosen salad of pickles and cheese wasn’t really quite to my taste. At all. So hot goulash won the day. Shame that wasn’t my lunch. Nonetheless, Pickle Surprise aside, we really enjoyed being there. We chatted with some really interesting travellers, rested up, enjoyed the picturesque surrounds and went on our way. Oh, and there’s beer. The delicious local beer made it all better. :)"

I usually go hiking on these mountains, this Mount Tegelberg restaurant is interesting and has really friendly folks. Enjoyed the ???? and the panoramic view of the natural lakes around the Castle Neuschwanstein. Voir le carte

We had some drinks which were good, but the food is another story. The sausage for the kids was inedible as it had been in the water for ever as it was grey and tasteless. the chips are very salty. The service is also not good. As they were not interested in complains.

We didn't eat, but drank some beers and the kids had hot chocolates. The service was great- they brought out everything to us and were incredibly nice. The views from the restaurant on the patio are just incredible. Wow. There are also sling chairs to relax in while looking at the alps. Just beautiful.

Was here with a tour group and enjoyed the cable car, slide, the view, and watching hang gliders take off. We did eat here and it was just okay. Slightly more expensive which was to be expected, but the quality just wasn't there. The service wasn't very good either, they seemed somewhat annoyed to have a group show up. Voir le carte

We took the cable car to reach the station up on the mountain. The view was so beautiful when the cable car climbing up. We chose to walk further up to the upper part of the mountain for better views. It was amazing that the sky kept changing with the sea of clouds moving every second. It was unusual that you could not find the scenery looks like a picture. It took us more than an hour to go further up and 45 minutes to return to cable car station. Good for someone like the nature.

We were ready to go up at 13:00, the carpark was virtually empty. The cablecar goes up every halfhour. 15€ per person, kids no not go free. Grrrrr. Wenwere a small gruop ascending, 5 of us, amd hardly anyone up there either. Nice panoramic cafe and restaurant and yes, stunning snowy views. You cannot see the castles from the summit ONLY on the way up. I enjoy going up mountains. Also , next to the carpark is the TOBOGGAN RUN . About 3€ a person and good fun to do this activity. My son and i loved it.

"What a pleasant dinner I just had at this place with two friends. Service was great. They got us a table without prior reservation. We asked house specials Inside Out sushi rolls and a selection of beef slices covered in an awesome red sauce with garlic(items 46 and 69 in the menu). We “forbid” the waitress removing the remains of the sauce from #69 . After that we ordered 3 different curries. In my case, red curry(including coconut in the curry) with crispy chicken. Curry was creamy and with just the right amount of spiciness. It came with side rice and a bed of slices potatoes and broccoli between the chicken and the curry. The crispy chicken was good. Nothing especial about it except leaving the stage to the curry. The plating and the plate were awesome in my opinion. Portions very good too. The only observation was that one of my friends ordered a mango curry and he couldn’t identify the mango taste on it. Perhaps it was a mistake, perhaps the description is a bit misleading. We’ ll never know. All in all, it as a very pleasant experience for me. I can 100% recommend this place to those fan of the Japanese Curry. I’m not sure of the curry served in this place is indeed Japanese nor it was explicitly mentioned but it certainly have lots in common with them. Ohh, I almost forgot. I also ordered a White Geisha sake based drink. It was good. I don’t particularly remember it as an outstanding element of the dinner because I was too busy on the curry"
