Taverna Azzurra - Menu

The pizzas were fine. We had to pay 4,30 euro extra before they would accept payment with credit card. I didn't have cash and was not aware of any credit card problem.... but extra money helped :

Here you can eat some excellent Italian food. This very small restaurant in the old part of Ulm is very welcoming, with a great cosy atmosphere and exquisite food. All my friends and I were satisfied with the food quality.

fat man has received me, not really excited to see a customer! waited waited half an hour before other 20 minutes to serve grilled fish dish: fish was good, garnish and squid nothing special, many nice, price very high canal smell...at table (I was out) keep her out

the personal could not speak English, but we had a great time ordering and rehearsal a lot of Italian food and drink. the waiter had fun with us, and we enjoyed the easy-going, relaxed evening meal experience. eating was very nice and fresh. made with good ingredients. they had a nice choice. I would recommend giving it a try!

I took spaghetti with garnel. it was great! the garnels were fresh and tasty, and the nudel was boiled al dente. the others in my group took a seafood pizza, a steak and a nudel with truffle. they all like their dishes. the decoration inside...was also great. really European, I would say. some commented the waiters were unfriendly, but our waiter was very friendly and polite. I would go back there definitiw!

this place had incredibly bad service. we were quite much in buying the most expensive red wine on their menu, eating came too late for a person from our party of six. When eating was finally done, the cook that was in the food pick-up window had the nerve to scream to let us stand up from our table and get the duck itself instead of letting the waitress bring them. the food didn't taste too great. the tomato sauce in spaghetti had a bright, nuclear color. disgusting!

Some Italian colleagues had recommended this picturesque restaurant near the Ulmer townhouse so I took two friends for dinner in the hope of enjoying home made, authentic Italian cooking. The interior has a pleasant atmosphere but the compliments stop here. Food was ordinary, at most,...and in my case, admittedly the most disappointed of the trio, essentially awful. I had orecchiette with salchica and being myself a pretty bad cook, I can do better than this. I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy a good meal, food is not better than at the Mensa in the Uni!

This place used to be fantastic. I used to eat here at least 1-2 times a month. Very small menu but fantastic! The management of the restaurant changed sometimes in the past years and I was there again after many years. I invited friends there who used to love the place because of the beautiful location, fantastic food and the great people who used to work there. When I saw the menu in knew something was not the same and when I got the food I was sure it was not the same place any more. I started talking to one of the people there and they told me that they changed the management of the restaurant. What a bad idea..... B : Lasagna I wish the sauce was more on the tomatoey, sweeter side but it was ok, I have a feeling the hubby would have liked it. The cheese was excellent, consistently melting as you pry a piece away, that was my favorite part of the dish. A: Prosecco is prosecco, goes well with what's about to come next........ A : Tiramisu the best Tiramisu I've had on the trip. I believe it was homemade, because of the layers, its looks like it was made the same way you would make moose.
