ordered a meal for two last night ..The chicken dhansac was tasteless. the chicken was tough and the lentils were hard . will not be back

Went here tonight for dinner with the family. Great selection in their buffet and very reasonably priced. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. The staff were very welcoming and treated everyone kindly. I would definitely visit this restaurant again. The food and service were both top-notch.

Been to this restaurant many times over the years. First time back since covid and was pleased to see that the standard of food was still good, whole family enjoyed the buffet. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Only disappointment was they no longer do a soup as a starter in the buffet as this was always very nice. Otherwise great meal out and would fully recommend this restaurant especially for their buffet. Great value and excellent variety.

After a disappointing experience at another indian restaurant ,we were recommended this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The food choice was excellent and the starters awesome! We used the Buffet and the food was plentiful and hot ! Good mix of families and couples and everybody seemed relaxed and enjoying their experience! Service was polite and friendly . Over stuffed myself with starters but it was worth it as haggis pakora and vegetable pakora are to die for !

This was our first visit to the restaurant, as we were eager to try a new Indian eatery. As we drove down the street, we were taken aback by how run-down everything looked. The exterior of the restaurant seemed to have seen better days, and if I were the manager, I would have asked some staff to spend 20 minutes picking up the litter around the area, as it wouldn't have taken long but would have made a big difference. The interior was not much better, with cold and filthy foyer stairs. The restaurant itself appeared tired, with unattractive carpeting, furniture, and decoration. The food, while lacking some salt and being a bit cold, was okay. However, the poor surroundings made it difficult...

I'm disappointed to write this review, as Taste has been our go-to for Indian takeaway for many years. However, our Christmas day experience was a letdown. We ordered Turkey with all the trimmings for our son, and the meal was honestly terrible. The processed Turkey squares and dried up potatoes were far from appetizing. The only redeeming aspect was the brussels. The price we paid for such a meal was outrageous. The waiters seemed tired, which we understand, but they forgot to take our order. While many people opted for the buffet, those with à la carte bookings should receive more attentive service. Called to book table for 7pm was advised really busy so earliest could do was 8pm, arrived and restaurant was very quiet only 3/4 tables full. We had done buffet deal, waiter was excellent very friendly and helpful. At 8:53 we were advised buffet was going off and asked if we had our main meal asked if this was ending? Was told yes due temperature and no fresh put out (food not issue we jus felt rushed, Then hoovering etc started around 9pm…….. staff were cleaning around us, when highlighted to us gave different closing times of 11pm but then stated 10:30 would be better for them (we had purchased drinks tokens which hadn’t been used we had went for family evening out but full time felt rush...
