"tapa edinburg 24/10/2015 the autumn is good and truly on us and it was crisp at night on Friday, as a food club on the ufer for some tapas in the fantastic looking tapa restaurant down on the ufer beaten. because of the size of our party we had to go with the group menu, but it was very reasonable and boasted a lot of everything they could ask and more. we started with a little broth and oil and this followed a beautiful crisp salad and then a selection of cold meat and cheese. the group menu allowed them to choose 2 main dishes tapas and with 7 people in the participation and 13 meat/fish dishes on the menu. we chose “all from above and an additional band”. service was fast and seamless and very friendly. while waiting for the first of the dishes, we talked about the beautiful interior of the restaurant and its in-house atmosphere. we also discussed our usual amount of müll and apologise for the others in the restaurant from our loudness, but we love a good laugh. I will be honest and say I'm late to finish this review and remember the exact details of the dishes is difficult, but what I can say is that they were all great. a special mention of the Pork jack and the chorizowurst. we have ordered more from an extended menu and I recommend the tempura garnel, a crispy golden crunch of joy. the sea bass was also a party on the palette. the night was finished with churros and chocolate sauce and I would have drunk happily a pint of warm, dark and silky accompaniment. we ordered some coffees and finished our alcoholic drinks before they departed to leith and back to the center. massive thanks to all in the food club for a great night with brilliant service and majestic dine unfortunately our November trip was postponed, but this month we will be west to glasgow and into the arisaig restaurant. Of course, as it is the festive season, it must be a little more laborious. food club twitter @wearefoodclub instagram – thefoodclub1"

Five stars are not enough. I should give them ten at least! All the foods were amazing, staffs super friendly and caters your needs right away. Book in advance or you might not get a table.

intimate lighting really gives the culinary experience. it is spacious, yet atmospheric and always seems to be full although they can get a table in the regular. the menu is huge and. packed with some of my favorite Spanish ingredients like morcilla de burgos. Iberian pork and Valdeon cheese. if they have top ingredients, it is best only Voir le carte

One of our favorite restaurants: incredibly authentic Spanish tapas that rival a place I was taken to by locals in Barcelona. They offer a specially curated menu featuring only gluten-free dishes, and there are plenty to choose from, allowing you to enjoy a generous selection of tapas. If you order the trio of dips to start, they also provide oat cakes as an alternative to bread, which I highly recommend!

we had a £25 credit for tapa in leith, so we went to check it. tapa is a cute place, it is decor is perfect for tapas food, underlined, but somehow with a lot of Spanish flair. we both loved the mood of the restaurants. early doors we were warned that the servings were larger than traditional Spanish tapas and to ensure that they take this into account before ordering. they were wise and healed. it is good because it promotes a reduction in food waste.

We love Tapa. Just to get that out of the way first. It’s where we had our first dinner date, gone back to celebrate an anniversary and now to celebrate my birthday. So for us, it holds lots of lovely memories. Tapa can be found on a little street down the shore. It has a lovely laid back atmosphere and the staff follow that as well. They look after you but also leave you to pick over the food, drink wine and chat. You don’t feel rushed. Although the food does come out very quickly and because it tastes so good, it’s hard not to wolf it down. For our full review, please visit edinburgers.co.uk/tapa-edinburgh-review/ Voir le carte

I 'd never visited a tapas restaurant before so when some friends suggested we visit Tapa I was excited but was apprehensive about whether or not I would be full from sharing tapas dishes. We were welcomed into the restaurant and immediately shown to our table by friendly staff who explained how the food would be served and what our options were with the menu. We were first served with a range of jamon, chorizo and bread to start us off while we looked through the a la carte menu. I decided on the calamares and baby back BBQ ribs for my tapas and we were also served two types of potatoes and a salad to go with our meal. Believe me when I say their 'baby ' back ribs are not small when you 're...

This review appears in the October edition of Bite Magazine, and can be found online here . Heading into The Waterline with mum on an August Saturday night, it was quickly apparent how well it would fit with this month 's theme of celebrating all that is retro. Joni Mitchell and The Rolling Stones were on the hi-fidelity sound system, ok, it was probably an iPod, but I can pretend it was vinyl and we were pre-metric system. The pub 's theme is 'olde nautical ', and we settled in for a night of comforting eats and drinks by the shore. With an absence of Mateus on the wine list, instead we got into the groove with a bottle of fresh Italian rosé £14.29) to sip on whilst checking out the menu. T...

"new kapitel has caught my attention after I was on top ten on trip advisor only months after the opening in the oktober last year. that and the fact that it is open for my early january birthday, made it the perfect place to celebrate to become a little older. I was with the man and his family. the man is quite used to my taste and good to the kind of kitchen that would appeal to me for a special occasion; his family not so much and I was filled with shame as his mother scornful went through the menu trying to find something she would enjoy. I've eaten with the family of the man, and I know they enjoy eating, so I think it's a failure of the menu that it is not accessible. the benming always blooming and garnish can appeal to some, but for others it is overcomplicated and it is necessary to find a balance between the two. we start with the starters and I go for venison sour wort pithvier. the venison was underheated and incredibly dry, to the happiness the sourded a little moisturizing and so saved the whole dish, but the aromen were quite not clear, except the garnitur of plastered mushrooms I thoroughly enjoyed. for the largest part we chose a fish dish for our main,- sea trout, smoked muddles, petersilien and coast herbs. where the starter fell, the main recording is getting back. the dish is rich and creamy, and each element adds the complexity of the taste as a whole, without disturbing. the concept is now an old one, and it would be deceptive if it had not worked, as it would essentially pay with this place. I enjoyed my meal in new chapter, although I do not agree with it is stellar status under the hierarchy of edinburgh eateries. it is top ten position is just a flash in the pan of hot popularity, and in time it will be plated in the upper half of the middle stage where it belongs. and that is where it belongs, the dishes can be plated with a michelin star in understood, and the venue and the supporting media has the clean lines and empty slate look of fine but eat the team has a long gone to go if that is their real aim. at the end, although it was a beautiful meal, and cheap (at the moment I would not be surprised to see their prices slowly rise) and the man’s mother found something they enjoyed and that is the most important."
