Talli Joe - Carte

One of the most enjoyable meals I have had in a while Cool place but the food is actually good.

Great service and friendly staff and nice ambience. But good wasn’t great, expected better taste.

some restrictions are about eating, the art of food. others are a tourist fall money mill. that feels and tastes like later.

overpriced for w small stingy portions. for example, a single portion of 150ml masala chai was not noticeable in taste and cost £3 per! it was empty on a sat except a few other tabelle w slow service. in any case not back there!

we couldn't feed here because the restaurant was closed. we were a party of 6 and had to find last minute reservation. it was one of the girls birthday and that ruined it. more open table did not call to notify that the restaurant is closed. that's very bad. apparently was still advertising this restaurant as table, although the restaurant was closed. the open table should better advertise the correct information. I could not really have an experience in talli joe, as the restaurant for the sanation was closed (car in the restaurant 2 weeks before crashed so that the restaurant was closed without mentioning if it could be reopened, we did not even hear that from the restaurant, it was from someone else beside him, than the location was completely closed) it was a really bad customer experience to see the restaurant online only

Starters are great. Mains can be very heavy with thick suace and quite spiced even for an Indian palatte. Food is a creative twist to Indian curry. Brilliant. Could be toned down a bit on the use of cloves without losing taste. Goan fish is brilliant. Lamb main is tasteful. Usually Need some more bread or rice with the mains. Portion size of mains are good. One main would work for 2 people especially given it’s a bit spiced and heavy. Starters are better although cocktails are incredible. Was surprised that there were not many people after 7pm. Yet service was a let down.

The experience we had here was atrocious not one of the waiters (all eastern europeans) spoke any English, where miming salt and pepper pots brought us a chilli bottle; the orders were mixed up or duplicated; the food tasted terrible, the portions tiny (for the price); the noise level was way too high; we wanted a mix of set menu and a la carte, the waiter got into a tizz saying we could not do this, all HAD to be one or the other, yet nowhere on the menus did it write that. The only comfort was the stressed out manager, who bless her spoke a little English so we could convey our frustration at it all. A pity as we then had to leave the poor tasting food for a nearby McDonalds; embarrassing... Voir le carte
