Taj Mahal - Carte

We found this restaurant by chance and it was one of the great meals of our trip. The food was delicious and well presented. The hostess was warm and welcoming and the decor made us feel like we were in ancient India ! Not to...be missed if you are in Regensburg!

Ich war das erste Mal in meinem Leben indisch Essen. Das Lokal finde ich persönlich sowas von gemütlich. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und hilfsbereit in der Auswahl. Hätte Hühnchen in einer Curry Soße. Hat mir total gut geschmeckt. Ich werden auf jeden Fall beim nächsten Besuch noch mehr ausprobieren.

Seit vielen vielen Jahren werden im Taj Mahal ausgezeichnete indische Gerichte serviert. Durch die sehr traditionelle indische Einrichtung fühlt man sich ein Stück weit wie in Indien, aber das ist ja auch genau das was man sich wünscht wenn man eine andere Küche genießen will. Ich hoffe diese Restaurant bleibt uns noch sehr lange erhalten. Voir le carte

As a Birmingham lad I have been brought up on Currys living in London there are some good curry houses and some very bad. I was very surprised to find this curry house whilst on business in Regensburg. The food is very good the service...is excellent the decor is an eclectic mix of east meets west. A really good experience I will be going back on my next visit to Regensburg.

Im Taj Mahal gibt es sehr sehr leckeres Essen und auch eine sehr große Auswahl. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und auch die Einrichtung ist sehr ansprechend gewesen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch das selbstgemachte Fladenbrot. Die Preise sind vielleicht etwas hoch, für das was man bekommt allerdings vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Taj Mahal ist auf jeden Fall der beste Inder im Raum Regensburg.

we knew that during the week we would feel like a curry, we were on a river cruise and so we found this restaurant online. it is very close to the river and perfect for another dinner away from the ship. in the inner it is. decorated in traditional way, and there is a decent selection of dresses that were all well prepared and well presented. the prices are also very reasonable. Ich war am Wochenende im Taj Mahal essen es war sehr voll. Es ist ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Restaurant. Das Essen ist perfekt, besser geht es gar nicht. Der Servies ist super freundlich und schnell. Die Innenausstattung ist der Hammer. Der Chef und die Chefin sind sehr freundlich gegen über ihren Gästen. Also für mich ist das Restaurant top.Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen.Reservieren ist nötig vorallem am Wochenende!

the tablecloth was dirty and so was the wall where I sat. the food didn't stay warm as long as it never had a candle underneath, just a few hot plates that quickly became cold. the part was small in comparison to Indian...palace in regensburg, which I highly recommend instead of taj mahal. the service was also not so good in taj mahal. my prawn curry was tasty and also I had never had some fresh poppedos with as much as most Indian restaurants should be on the table as welcome snack place. my first visit here and the last one.

my wife is very critical to Indian restaurants. it has high expectations. and the taj mahal has earned me some points! the decoration, the music and the eating had their feeling as if they were india. she had the chicken marsala and I had a mixed meat plate. Both were excellent. for large parties there are special (areas) (please specify). it is a bright restaurant, so it is not intimate, though tables for two. that is, it is still a great place to go when they impress or show their significant others, people who can choose a good restaurant.
