Very cute little tea room in Chelmsford, minutes from the town centre. Delicious food, homemade cakes and reasonably priced. Would return.

This is a wonderful little restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. It's a hidden gem with a lovely garden, clean and well-lit. I highly recommend it.

A lovely cafe in the town centre. They offer a selection of lunches and delicious cakes at a reasonable price. Quiet atmosphere inside and a garden with seating too. The staff are very attentive and friendly which makes the experience even more pleasant. Would highly recommend.

The food is lovely the staff a welcoming and the cafe itself is spotless.the only thing i didnt like was when i paid by card the lady said the machine was asking if i wanted to add a tip.well it isnt the machine asking its the cafe. i dont think you should be put in that position .i am not opposed to tipping but feel that the cafe sets the price for the food the staff are paid for their work it made me feel pressured into tipping

10/10 best plate of scrambled eggs I've had in ages. The smashed Avocado on toast is amazing as well- the chilli flakes are really subtle but amazing! Lovely, bright and welcoming atmosphere, super friendly welcoming staff, and reasobably priced given the amazing taste! Best breakfast in town by far. Only one small suggestion; perhaps putting sugar pots on the tables for tea? The fact even though I was stuffed I wanted to order seconds is a really good sign! The café offers seating on the ground floor as well as upstairs, making it a great spot for group tea parties or hen parties. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Every time I have visited, the place has been bustling with people enjoying their meals, which is always a good sign. Although we didn't indulge in any desserts this time, I can vouch for the deliciousness of their Victoria sandwich, carrot cake, and brownies from past experiences. Their brownies, in particular, are a must-try! The cakes are all beautifully displayed for you to choose from. Additionally, they serve wine, and my daughter particularly enjoys their rose wine. Overall, this café is truly excellent.

The charming Sweet Pea Cafe is located on the outskirts of the city. Upon arrival, the cafe was bustling with the happy chatter of patrons enjoying all it has to offer. We had made a reservation for the afternoon and were promptly seated. This family-run cafe has the wonderful advantage of attentive and welcoming staff who truly make you feel at home. The women working there even took note of my dietary restrictions and served up a lovely afternoon tea. My friend and I spent hours chatting with them, ensuring we had everything we needed and enjoying more drinks.
