"I'm not an avid reviewer, so to feel the need to write up feedback on this wonderful cafe is a very telling sign on just how special this place is. I came here with my partner for a quick lunch. We each ordered a meze plate, served by a very friendly and smiling gentleman, and was told to wait upstairs for it to be brought up to us. The service was speedy, the waitress offered us water, to which she brought over a big glass bottle full. This food we were told is all made fresh daily, and you can tell. Every single part of this meal was delicious and left us feeling like we'd had a health kick, which was a lovely way to end a very wholesome weekend. We will most certainly be back, to try more of what they have to offer, and I will be throwing out recommendations left right and centre. Thank you Sunbirds."

Had the veggie meze and my boyfriend had the chicken wrap we loved them! I’m gluten free and they gave such a great selection, loved it all!

Always delicious, lovely tasty wraps with delicious chicken and lovely salads. They also have a great selection of chilled drinks. They are not open that often but when they are, it’s worth going

Sunbirds is one of my favourite cafes in Brighton. The range of food, from snacks to meals is very good. The location is good. The decor is cheerful. The staff are always friendly and remembered me after the pandemic break. Highly recommended!

Sunbirds truly are the kings and queens of mezze and wraps!! I'm a local and I eat here at least twice a month. It is consistently delicious with great options and lovely staff. If you come to Brighton you have to eat here!! (Also their dessert options are INCREDIBLE!! Voir le carte

Highly recommend. Tasty food and friendly service. Great choice of veggie and vegan dishes too. Had the veggie mezze, coffee and fresh fruit juice of the day. Was impressed with the selection of food and drinks and the cakes looked lovely but I'll have to save those for another time.

There's a good reason this deli cafe consistently gets 5 stars: I've been eating here for years and the food is always freshly made, healthy, varied and delicious. Staff are welcoming and efficient, and eating in the food is piping hot, while their wonderful takeaway mezes are our Friday staple meal, and we can't resist their baklava. Dogs are also welcomed, and mine enjoys the smells and the snacks. The cafe is unpretentious and no one hurries you out, so I've often met up with friends. Sunbirds is so good that I've nominated them for this year's BBC Food and Farming Awards in the Best Streetfood, Takeaway and Small Eateries category everyone who loves them should do the same, as it doesn't...
