Sumach Restaurant - Carte

Food wasn't so great for those prices. On top of that we got disturbed by fruitflies. I wouldnt go there again. It is hard to understand all those good reviews. Only two table were occupied in whole restaurant at dinner time.

An authentic middle eastern restaurant served only the best Turkish food with the bread freshly from the oven, very cozy place and very friendly service, English speaking waiters and with a English menu at very reasonable prices, btw, the meats served here are Halal.

my man and I went to the turkey last year and we fell in love with eating. we have long been looking for an authentic restaurant to relive these memories, and we found it! sumach is a very beautiful and elegant restaurant that...food is delicious and the service is really good. it is easily accessible by metro. we will return with friends as soon as this Covid-19 is over! Ordered humus plate and mixed grill along with Turkish tea. Everything was tasteless and below average. Looked great though (see photo). Besides, sitting outside was a wrong decision as food was swarmed with honey bees (yes they can sting bad) and flies. The dishes aren’t...cheap either. Overall, not happy but ate enough that I was satisfied. Will not be going there again.

I am for a few months in Germany and have really failed Turkish purchase. this restaurant has delicious suppen and mezes (starter,) especially humus was even better than I had in the turkey. kebabs and meat was also juicy and tasty. the portions were also great. the owners of the restaurant were professional but warm and welcoming at the same time. eating, tables etc. were clean. I'll be back in the final. good price-performance ratio

Six of us including two kids went to Sumach for dinner. It looked pretty fancy, but we decided to try it. The dining room is large and lovely, nicely decorated with table cloths and comfortable chairs. We ordered some appetizers and dinner plus a bottle...of Turkish wine. The food was great and prices were less than expected. Most dinners were around 15 euros. A decent bottle of wine was 18 euros. The service was great. The service was extremely bad. There was an old man serving as waiter who is definitely proper person for that job. The restaurant was completely empty as seen in the picture and i just sit on one of the empty tables. He come to me...and said that table is reserved and it was for 4 people and since i was alone , i should sit in a small table. I found that very unprofessional considering the restaurant completely empty. The food had good appearance but not delicious at all especially imam bayalldi. The kebab was one of the worst i ever tried. Not recommended restaurant.

last year we had dinner in this restaurant and we were happy with the quality of eating and friendly service. after a year we visited this restaurant today and it was a total disappointment. we wanted to order lahmacun and we were told they have never served lahmacun because it is too easy and we should not come into a restaurant for this dish. what they told was ridiculous, because even the Instagram account of the restaurant this court with some photos advertising! in general the attitude was rude. we ordered other dishes, but they were really poor. it is sad that quality was not sustainable.

I was very positiw surprised by this restaurant despite its pretty average rating. the people could complain on the basis of the price for quantity, but that is simply not true. higher quality restaurants have much higher prices for less food than those we have observed at sumach. the food we ordered were the 1 meter long kebab, and without saying it was what it said it is a massive meal for 4 people. eating was so much that we didn't eat it all. the food was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. it didn't take long before it was served. for a group of four people we had two drinks per person and the main course, the sum was 124€ without the tip that is a reasonable price for such a massive me...
