Lovley place with friendly staff, food is great and its also dog friendly. We come often and we are never disappointed

We only come here because it’s convenient and normally the only place open. The products used are cheap and taste as such. Service is always slow and the place is never very clean. The toilet is always out of service even for customers. The staff never seem interested in taking your order and seem to enjoy ignoring customers.

Took 3 of our grandchildren hoping it would be a positive experience. Nothing special about the waffles , they sell Cart D’or ice cream but don’t use that on the waffles , ice cream was cheap , small drizzle of syrup served on a paper plate with wooden cutlery and no serviettes . The photo will show what the 3 children thought by what they left on their paper plates . Absolutely do not recommend.

My daughter and her friend had a lovely time at Suagr Rays. They both chose the chocolate milkshake and they were gone within minutes so they must have been good. There are so many choices available and not only milkshakes but pancakes, waffles, sundaes … the list is endless. Staff were polite, service was quick and venue clean and tidy what more could you want from a great value treat for the kids (and adults too . Voir le carte

We enjoyed delicious refreshments at Sugar Rays on Canvey Island. We had hot mochas and mini donuts, and then came back for shakes. Sugar Rays offers shakes with mix-ins, my daughter loved the mint chocolate chip with Oreos. We found the servers to be hard working and polite. Even when we needed a cab (being from out of the area with our phone service not working), the Sugar Ray workers helped us out. Thank you so much!

never been here b4 but fancied a milkshake. First impressions looked nice but have to say on sitting down tables were sticky and grubby. The whole place needs a thorough deep clean. Staff are nice enough but need to observe social distahcing. Owner was talking in our face! Milkshakes not great. Very cheap biscuits used. Daughter said she has never tasted a milkshake like it and not in a good way. We all took our shakes outside because we were not happy at the hygiene. It really needs a good clean and staff should wear masks.

Rated low as there were 4members of staff behind the counter and for 10 mins none of them acknowledged our presence (even to say sorry someone will be with you in a bit). The drinks whilst scalding hot to drink were very basic tasting and the donuts were raw inside Tables and chairs looked as though they not been cleaned all week and some were still full of plates and mugs from when we walked in to when we left. Appalling state of hygiene and the missing ceiling panels following water leaks didn’t help to encourage that this is a good place to eat. In major need of tlc and staff management arrangements.
