"I was in the area with a friend and we were looking for a place to get for a quick lunch. We found La Mancha and, initially, we were the only ones in there, but decided to give it a try anyway. Once inside, you'll be welcomed by a quaint atmosphere, with a colorful and eye-catching décor. It does remind me of my own Latin roots. From the table we were seating, everything felt like a authentic Spanish location. Even the street outside gets feels like completely different place, than the busy city beyond the buildings that surround it. There was Spanish music playing in the background which was at the ideal volume, loud enough to cover any background or street noise but quiet enough that it doesn't distract or covers your own conversation. Anyway, we have ordered a couple of dishes each and I must say, we weren't disappointed. Everything was fresh and tasty and completely on par with the look and feel of the restaurant. Prices were quite good and we were satisfied with the overall experience. On the downside, this restaurant might be a bit tricky to find as it's on a narrow side street, but it's definitely worth it and I highly recommend it."

"The Waterside is a luxurious, warm, friendly restaurant. It is perfect for many occasions, from a romantic meal for two, to a family gathering or celebration. The venue has a number of high-backed booths that provide a sense of luxury, as well as a degree of privacy. There is an extremely well stocked bar that has a wide range of quality beers, wines spirits. During warmer months there is the opportunity to dine al fresco with a number of outdoor tables set in a lovely garden with excellent views. However, perhaps one of the best areas to dine is in The Waterside 's 'Cabin '. This is a wooden building that brings cosy to a whole new level. With a feeling of a Swiss chalet, it has it 's own bar, heating, Bluetooth sound system, enabling you to choose your own music, and provides the opportunity to host private parties, works dos, family gatherings or, in my instance, surprise 50th birthday celebrations! The food we had was delicious and the service was exceptional. The waitresses who looked after us worked their socks off and no one was waiting for drinks. They were attentative but in no way intrusive and helped build a great atmosphere. With great food, drinks, service and venue, I can 't recommend the Waterside enough. They fully deserve the #1 spot on Trip Advisor for restaurants in Littleborough."

"Visited here to celebrate a family engagement recently. To begin with the service was quick attentive. However, as the night progressed service become overwhelming and on the side of frustrating. When ordering the waitress disappeared for 5 minutes to figure out what they had...left On return she didn't even say anything just stared blankly. Odd. Once ordered, she then returned and said they didn't have any steaks for the Surf Turf' that was ordered. Weird Unsure how she missed telling us this when she asked the kitchen pre-ordering? Anyway, we were offered a replacement for the steak which we accepted without bother, with the agreement the steak would be discounted off the final bill. This however did not happen. Once food arrived...slowly may I add...In the space of 2 minutes we were asked by 3 different staff members if we were happy with everything around 6 or 7 times. Lovely they want to ensure we are ok, however when you haven't even started yet or you are trying to finish a mouthful you just want to eat in peace enjoy private conversation. Food was okay. Below par cold. After being, what felt like, hurried out of the door at the end (the staff clearly were ready to go home by 9pm) we were left feeling incredibly underwhelmed. All I can recommend is stay away from the Dianne Sauce."

"We had a lovely meal at The Healey tonight. Easy online booking. Service was great. Most importantly, the food was lovely. The menu is varied and contains some good veggie and a couple of vegan options. I had the chickpea, spinach and sweet potato curry which was REALLY good and a proper portion, not a piddly tower of rice packed into a pot and turned upside down on the plate like you get in some places. A great big plateful of rice and really tasty curry. Other half had burger and very good chips. Two small boys also ate a plateful each, which is always a bonus. Really happy with the food and service and we’ll definitely go back."
