dumplings and soup dumplings are not homemade even though they will tell you they are. I saw them taking a whole load of frozen dumplings into the kitchen to cook. Went with the family while on holiday and geninuely everything from the portions to the pricing was top quality had salt and pepper squid, ribs, dumplings pancakes and duck. Followed by some green tea. The only complaint I'd say is the service waited about an hour for the starters but the food more than made up for it also to my knowledge the only Chinese restaurant that plays music by the bee gees.

The pancake I tried at Street Of Beijing Bruntsfield was absolutely fantastic! It included pork, egg, and a hint of sweetness, all combined with a perfectly crispy texture. Brilliant impromptu visit to this place with my brother and his gf. Ordered a couple of noodle dishes and a mixture of lunch and side dishes. Noodles are hand made by the chef ..best noodles were the new special pork noodles .. absolutely spot on. The custard buns were delicious too. Service was excellent and top notch. Very friendly very kind and accommodating. Will definitely be back and recommend to others. If you speak Cantonese, even better.

Street Of Beijing Bruntsfield is an outstanding Chinese restaurant in Edinburgh, offering a truly authentic dining experience paired with excellent service. You can even watch the noodles being made right in the window! Our favorite dish was the pan-fried dumplings, though everything we tried, including their Chinese burgers, was delicious. We’ve ordered delivery multiple times, and the quality has always been consistent. Prices are fair (14 dumplings for £9.99), but note that they only accept cash. Fortunately, there’s an ATM just across the street.

Great food, great service. If you're looking for super awesome comfort food made from scratch, this is the spot. Also, I was literally the only non Chinese non English speaker in this bustling business, which is always a good rule of thumb when looking for authenticity. I just went in to try out a couple of apps, but there was a table of about 6 Chinese folk next to me who looked like they'd ordered like half the menu, and omg it looked amaaazingg, filled with variety and TOTALLY different from the standard blah blah chow mein etc type fare.
