"It's a shame there's no chance to leave another review... We were there for breakfast this morning and it was really great. The service, a super cheerful person, welcomed us... unfortunately, I don't know his name. We were shown to our table and felt welcome. The service team, which is very young but extremely friendly and competent, actually deserves more than 5 stars. When we asked if it was possible to get a very small portion, we were offered several options. The breakfast was plentiful and good value for money. Of course, they could offer higher-quality products, which would certainly be reflected in the price. And whether everyone sees it that way is still questionable... We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back... Overall, a really great location. The service was attentive, but there's still room for improvement. It's not quite as well-coordinated as it is yet, but I think it will improve over time. For example, the deposit return system is very inconvenient...They should consider a separate return point. It was also a shame that they didn't have any cocktails available when we were there. We'll definitely stop by again. But what was created there was exactly what was missing in Hagen. I hope it will prevail in the long run."

The food was very tasty and the atmosphere was nice too. Unfortunately, an employee employed there on the beach treated the guests and other employees extremely cholerically. However, the restaurant is highly recommended.

A nice restaurant right at the Hengsteysee. Especially recommended in summer on the huge terrace overlooking the lake and the forests of Hengstey. Cosy coffee and cake or delicious food or just drink a beer. Very nice, always happy to be there.

Location, food and drinks are great and the price is right. Unfortunately, the staff is not always too friendly and very slow. I would also think it would be better if there were service staff in the lower area to serve the tables, as it would be less annoying if you had to wait because you wouldn't have to wait in line forever. Basically a great restaurant! The dishes have been tasty for 20 years. ABER: The additional service personnel on sales days is a surprise! Today's Sunday (21.7.13 was the female BEDIAMENT (manufacturer, NOT boss, a disaster! From the male colleague (which in the same time already 3!!!x his page several times to ask for the back three tables, she did NOT manage to, despite several handmarks and calls of the guests, within 15(!!!) to control minutes of 6 tables 3 and pick up orders. We had breakfast in the beach house and have never had such a bad breakfast....the cutlery was always dirty, i.e. there were still bits of food stuck to it, the sausage was neatly arranged on the plate, but tasted as if it had been there for a long time, so it wasn 't fresh, yes and the scrambled eggs.....there were enough in the bowl but they were very dry and crumbly.....the fried eggs were slapped on the tray, dry, the egg yolk hard....the vegetables were really the last, watery and mushy.....the buffet wasn 't even prepared again....i.e. cleaned again, apart from normal rolls, nothing was refilled.....and every little thing costs extra....so we were so disappointed.....would have gladly...
