Top notch takeaway last night. Easy to park on the road outside, piping hot and very good quality. They checked the containers in front of us to make sure everything ordered was there and couldn’t have been friendlier.

Overated restaurant rely on regulars who would nt know what a decent curry was chicken chewy on both our meals they dont let you relax ontop of you all the time rushing us through the meal people all ontop of each other . Voir le carte

This was our first time visit to the star and it won’t be the last, we went with friends who recommended it and the food and service was exceptional I had chicken madras and the wife’s was a chicken korma both perfectly cooked , a perfect night out with great food , definitely a return soon

We were taken here by friends who have been going to this restaurant for 36years. I can see why they keep going back. The food is amazing, the staff were polite, friendly and the service was excellent. An outstanding restaurant we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a lovely evening

Abominable and inedible. Chicken was bland and chewy and reheated by texture. Sauce watery and tasteless. Onion Bhaji‘s smelled and tasted musty. Again refried I believe. Whole meal was disgusting and waste of money. I would not go again and would advise that you don’t order a takeaway early evening since you’re likely to get tasteless and inedible food. Our daughter was 40 so I booked tables for all 24 of us to meet up to celebrate. On a Wednesday at 6pm. We were greeted by the Manager Dilwar and sat at our tables. The staff were so helpful and polite, nothing too much trouble. The food was well presented, plentiful, perfect temperature, and delicious a 10/10 from all. What we couldn’t eat was bagged up and taken home! I would like to say many thanks to the chefs. The whole experience created happy memories of her birthday celebration. Star by name and 5 star by rating. Thank you everyone definitely see you again soon.

Restaurant was just clean enough, seats a little grubby, friendly atmosphere though with a typical decor. The chicken balti was average but nice, except for the chicken, it. was very tough ruined the curry. Some side dishes came out cold our 12 popadoms were stale. After a exhausting explanation to all the waiters about a few unsatisfactory dishes, I asked to speak to a member of management, I was informed there where no management on the premises at that time. Eventually they discount those dishes. All in all a average place to eat but we won’t be returning. Disappointed.

Went here for my birthday with my girlfriend. We live local and hadn’t tried here before. First impressions were it looked a little dated and potentially could have put us off. We were wrong to have dismissed this place. We started with some poppadom with dip, which was tasty. We then split the mixed starter between us which was excellent, the kebab was a highlight. As a main, we had a chicken tikka masala and a Lamb Bahar. We ordered rice with the tikka as this didn’t come with the dish. And a peshwari naan. The tikka was a highlight, great bit of spice and the flavour was excellent. Waiting staff were attentive and got our order right. Atmosphere was very casual, which we liked. Plenty of...
