"I recently visited this village pub for the first time, and it definitely won't be my last. The staff gave us a warm welcome and were able to accommodate us for dinner on a busy Friday night. The menu had a good variety of options, and the food we ordered was delicious. The only thing that would have made it a perfect experience would have been a better selection of ales. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be returning."

last Sunday. eating was excellent and service very good. pleasantly surprised to see what had been done with the pub. the inner is bright and airy much different than the darker inner of the old. highly recommended.

Lovely atmosphere lovely food! Was told about this pub before and never had the chance to go so when I got invited to a birthday meal was really looking forward to it! I wasn't disappointed! I had the risotto it was delicious and my friends had the burger and chips and it looked incredible! The locals were lovely too! Will recommend this place to everyone!

we visited on Friday evening with our daughter and son-in-law who live in barren. eating was good, inviting the atmosphere and the prices appropriate. I personally had the pop prawns followed by the newlyn hake; both were delicious and served with a smile. we had traveled 25 miles and it was worth the trip. will we have visited again? sure! thanks for a nice evening.
