We didn't eat, just had a drink. Nice beer at normal pub prices. Wasn't busy and we sat outside.

Found a nice pub within walking distance of The Aviator hotel. Very casual and family/kid friendly. Food and service was great.

Lovely pub, very busy, great service. Enjoyed the cheese board but it needs a few more crackers and better bar snack choices rather than all carbohydrate chips potatoes or breads. Voir le carte

Had a really nice steak along with a few beers which was lovely. However, our experience was made even better by the amazing attention to detail by the lovely Fatima. This lady really does go the extra mile you are very lucky to have her.

Nice homely pub. The food I had was first class. Disappointing I couldn 't use a credit or debit card to pay for some reason. Was forced to use 'my pub ' app or cash (which i didn 't have) so made the experience more atressful hence the three star rating.

Came to the Squirrel for my friends birthday, we ordered separately on the app, my food came out first and my friends had to wait over half an hour longer for theres... when my friends chicken pie came out the chicken was still Raw.. It was so raw it was dangerous ... when we showed the waiter this he just said 'oh do you want another ' to which we said No clearly.. they refunded my friend the £13 on to this card. I emailed the pub to share my thoughts on the awful food we were severed and i got just 1 response asking for the photo and they explained all there food is actually purchased cooked and ordered in frozen so its an issue with the supplier and not their 'chef ' if you can call someo... Came here for dinner which was a mixed experience. After telling the bar staff I had a table reserved (you go to the bar, there's no wait to be seated sign etc) I was just pointed towards the table, I had to find it myself. To order you scan a qr code to access the menu, but no one mentioned this or ever came over to check. In the end I got lucky noticing it on a menu on a different table as it was missing from the one I was seated at. The table was near the slot machines which I felt an interesting choice as normally those things are kept apart. The tables are also close enough to the bar that when glasses are thrown into the collection you have that loud clanking quite frequently while eat...

When you go into the squirrel and sit at a table, please be aware that this table may be reserved and not made abundantly clear that it is reserved. We made this apparent error because we are not mind readers and don't know the pubs table layouts or zones! The table next to us did indeed have a sign on the table, but not the table we were sat at. We were there for about an hour before we were told to vacate it as it was booked. I questioned that it wasn't clear as there was no sign. We were told that it was booked and we need to move! I questioned move to where? And was told the whole pub is booked out. I got the impression and attitude from the staff of tuff, it's booked. I guess I was look...

The pub was busy and I did expect that as its the Christmas period and I really liked the interior the pub, made me feel very cosy. The staffs were lovely and did inform us that there will be 30 45 minutes delay as they were busy. My starters were great but the main course was of a poor quality. I ordered the fish and chips and it was not made very well. Both the fish and the chips were not drained well from the oil as they were quite greasy on my plate and bits of oil residue were left of the plate too I know they are fried in oil but I would have expected them to pat or drain the oil a little before plating it up).
