We were taken to Bar Sport by some friends who are regular customers and had been enthusing about the fish based lasagne which is a speciality. To eat this dish you have to book ahead, but it is certainly worth it. The premises are typically Italian, with a small dining area in the building, and an enclosed pergola half on the pavement and half in the street. The owners were welcoming, the service prompt and the food delicious.

Had a wonderful visit recently with friends. Menu was presented hand written, classic Italian style. If you don’t understand Italian, there are English friendly employees. The group chose dishes such as Crusted Tuna Filet, Gnocchi, Seafood Pasta, Orata (fresh fish). Everyone loved their dishes! Available celiac items were gluten-free sciacchiata (similar to focaccia), gf gnocchi, gf pasta and other naturally gluten free dishes. When desserts were offered, I was delighted to find out they were ALL gluten free and all AMAZING. The owners family is celiac and even home bakes all their fantastic cakes!
