"After visiting the next treetop trail we enjoyed a cup of coffee and cake. Since we had no great desire to look further, we decided to return to this café restaurant in a short time. As seen in the pictures, the entire complex makes a somewhat downward impression. In the first, everything is still quite bright and friendly, thanks to the design with the round window fronts in the roof. From here there is also a large panoramic view over the Black Forest and the Bad Wildbad on the valley floor. Unfortunately, everything has been done on positive aspects for me. A look into the map shows the usual dishes of an excursion. A somewhat colorful and planless mixture of carvings with pommes, trout cutters, deer goulash etc. Since we didn't choose it, we can't make any impression. But we wanted coffee and cake. Unfortunately, even here only little joyful for us. Coffee from all machine, cake prefabricated TK goods. The first thing that surprised me was the question of the operation whether I wished black forests cake with or without alcohol. What basically sounds like a good thing is very fast seen as horror for every lover of this traditional cake. My desire with alcohol was fulfilled in the form when it was sprayed with the help of a pump atomizer, such as cherry water, over the piece lying on the plate. That's not for me. In a good Black Forest cake, Black Forests include cherry water and cherry juice in the cookie forests, already during preparation. As can be seen in the photos, cleanliness is usually required. A coffee dyed by the predecessor of the cup edges is replaced. The furniture meets and worn everywhere. The toilets are still brightly tiled and techn. ok, but unfortunately also very rough. On the day of our visit there was no service and the desired customer has to pick up. Conclusion: Despite the beautiful view from the terrace, the visit was not worthwhile for us. The price is just too far apart."

We stopped here for a drink and some black forest gateaux. The views alone are worth visiting this place. Sat out on the balcony feels like you're on top of the world!! Breathtaking.

Such a cool winter experience! Really rustic, the cold escape, with tasty mulled wine and warm soup, smell of wood stove, view over the valley, and beautiful service... even ice pegs there were to admire...

The typical German food was alright. Nothing spectacular, but decent. The drinks come in ceramic glasses which keep them cool and original. The highlight is, however, the view. Nothing can beat that view over the black forest and the Enz valley below. Voir le carte

Pig roast with late zle very good! Black Forest Cherry Vw, best ever! The restaurant had already closed, no guest was there. We just wanted a view from the terrace over Bad Wildbad. But the boss still gave us something to eat. And that, although they were already fixed and completed from the day-to-day business. Very nice people! We'll be back.

one of the most beautiful places in the black forest perhaps the most beautiful? Last autumn I went up with the summer mountain railway and enjoyed a delicious shupfnudelpfanne (9,20 euro.) my companion from the picnic flammpie diabolo darkened. only the service could have been a little more reliable. they really seem to float over the hang! funnyly, a large selection of ceramics is also sold on site, e.g., tassen. the place is also a great exit point for extended hikes. the rooms are converted into the time and I wait scobon longed for the reopening.
