"Very disappointing, I had trio of meat, Beef, Pork, Turkey, 1 very thinly sliced piece of beef, it was like tissue paper, certainly not carved, 1 supermarket style Pork Loin which was tough, and 2 bits of crumbled Turkey. The veg was watery Broccoli small florets and Cabbage, the potatoes were advertised as roasted in Garlic and Rosemary no evidence of garlic and rosemary whatsoever, the Yorkshire Pudding was ok. My husband had Steak Ale Pie which he said was ok. When asked if our meal was ok, I just mentioned about the Potatoes and got the reply oh sorry, and that was it, a Bottle of Heineken 0.0 was £4.15p Three of the bar staff had dirty tea towels hanging out of their pockets. The building outside and in , is lovely, and so is the garden at the back such a shame the food and staff let it down so badly !"

Lunch with friends. Nice pub and atmosphere but food was mediocre at best. Chicken was toughest I've ever been served. Pie was pretty dire too.

Absolutely first class service from all the team .. food was lovely.. Lewis is a very polite young man it was a pleasure eating there .. we have been on a number of occasions and we can’t fault it .

The child's pizza was hard the cheese tasted weird but chips were nice seats are comfortable for anyone. Overall it was good. The gooie chocolate brownie on the kids menu was pleasant but could use more sauce. Voir le carte

Poor quality food, luke warm, badly presented. Vegetables thrown on plate, roast potatoes, pale, not crispy. Meat carved so thin almost transparent. Cauliflower cheese was insipid and lacked cheese. We went at 17.30, maybe be better at lunch time when fresh. One to miss. Sorry.

This is a lovely pub with great staff. The service is excellent. The food needs a little upgrading for the price. The salt and pepper squid starter was meagre. 6 pieces. The gammon was nice. Chips overdone. The sirloin steak was very tough £18+ Very little pepper sauce. We have been here often but food needs sorting.
