Held my Dad's Wake Celebration of life here recently. They were compassionate to the situation, catered well for allergens. I would recommend The Silver Fox for all occasions or even just a pint and a light bite. Thank you for all your hard work on Friday 26.5.23

This charming, welcoming pub serves incredible pies that are a must-try! I opted for the chicken leek and lemon pie with mash, and it was not only delicious, but also very generous in portion size. Despite having a hearty appetite, I could only finish just over half of it. I will certainly return to sample the beef, marmite, and mustard pie next time.

We recently held my father's wake at this restaurant. From the moment I contacted Gill, she was incredibly helpful and had everything organized for our arrival. We recently held my father's Wake here. An incredibly hard time, so when I contacted the Silver Fox they was helpful from the get go! The ladies genuinely care and was happy to accommodate some personal touches we wanted to make, and allowed me to visit the day before to drop off some bits and pieces we wanted laid out. The food everyone complimented, and their hospitality was faultless. Can't thank them enough for being so kind. Traditional family pub, run by a lovely family. Plenty parking, lovely clean garden space and spacious inside seating area.

This charming family-owned local pub specializes in delicious homemade pies and puddings. We thoroughly enjoyed the Steak and Marmite Mushroom pie, as well as the Chicken Mushroom Pie, both served with a generous amount of flavorful gravy. The Rhubarb Crumble with custard for dessert was also a delightful treat. The pub has a cozy atmosphere and a beer garden at the back. Additionally, the dedicated darts area with five illuminated boards impressed us, especially with a National competition happening during our visit. The pub also has its own parking area available.

We held my father-in-law's wake at the Silver Fox yesterday. The venue was spacious enough for around 50 people and had plenty of parking available. The owner and her family were extremely helpful, even opening up for us on a day they would typically be closed. The layout of the restaurant provided a good balance of open space and seating for guests to mingle and chat. They served a delicious buffet with homemade cakes, including a fantastic coffee cake. Overall, they helped make a tough day a bit more manageable. The entire experience, from booking to the event itself, was seamless and comfortable. Voir le carte
