Silver Dollar Pizza

This restaurant makes incredibly delicious thin and crispy pizzas. They are the best I've ever had. If you enjoy this type of pizza, you will definitely be a fan. The restaurant itself is pretty average, which is why we usually opt for delivery.

Having not been to this restaurant since 2005, we decided to give it a try two weeks ago. To our surprise nothing much has changed the pizzas are still as delicious as they were then and the service is still very slow. Bit pricey for what you get but everything has gone up in price.

Ordered 7 pizzas, we asked for extra garlic on all pizzas. They only gave us two pizzas with extra garlic. We paid over £100 for this order. The staff are extremely rude and had the nerve to tell us we ‘lied’ about our order. We had six other people who heard the order. Ridiculous service. Voir le carte

I first visited the Silver Dollar in the 1960s, and it has always been our preferred pizza spot when we are in the area. The same décor and murals from the early days are still on the walls, which brings a nostalgic feel. Their thin crust pizzas with generous toppings are a must-try. I highly recommend ordering the Silver Dollar Special, which has been my favorite for over 55 years and never fails to impress!

I went with my Family tonight and everything was wrong,,,,,,,, menu on a4 paper stap together,,,,,not clean as I expected from past,,,,,,and how can you serve a pizza at that price and get it wrong. Its cheese on toast FFS. Never again and I was embarressed paying,,,,, should of just walked out. Shame that a good restaurant has gone to the dogs.Facebooked to let people know what a rip off and a sham it is now.

My family and I spent over £100 on a takeaway order, we asked them to repeat the order on speaker phone so everyone could check their order. The pizza we received was incorrect, so we called them to let them know, and they shouted at us down the phone, calling us liars and then hung up. I have never been so appalled at such awful customer service. Will never be ordering from here again. Will also be telling everyone I know how awful these people are. Voir le carte

This was my first visit to this run-down, overpriced café. The pizza was mediocre, with vegetables that seemed almost raw on top. The prices were comparable to high-end pizza restaurants, and the service was terrible. On top of that, they charged a service fee for the rude and unfriendly service (the server even made a face when I asked for an extra wine glass). Save your money and time - avoid this place. I can't understand how it has managed to get a 4-star rating.

I’m not sure if this is still owned and run by the original owners. The staff 3 women were all Eastern European, one even making the pizza. There was no Mr. Nick to be seen. The pizza lacked flavour, the base is beautiful but the sauce had no taste to it at all. Service is lack lustred, no attentive customer service, saw 2 of the woman just sitting there on their phones. Only way to get attention was to call them over. It’s a shame as we have been before when I assume Mr. Nick was there and the pizza was awesome. Unfortunately we’ll never be returning nor recommending this place to anyone.

Having booked a table for 3 a week before during the government eat out scheme, we arrived at the restaurant sharp 6.30 pm as per the booking. We were asked to wait outside and it had started raining.I was asked for the name and booking details. The staff brought the book and could not find our booking so went to ask the owner. The owner came with the book and told us someone called and cancelled our booking and she could not do anything about it. We tried to say why would we do that and she was not willing to listen. The restaurant may have cheekily cancelled our booking if they had shortage of tables. Never again shall we go there. Worst customer service.. Voir le carte
