"Visited this Restuarant the Saturday before and the aroma voming out of the restaurant was exquisite. It was fully booked so we tried again on a week day. Great ambience. Well staffed, though staff not attentive. The Shiraz tea was a hit, though a little...too sweet. If you hsve a sweet tooth, this is a must try. Our meals was disappointing. We had 4 different dishes. Doubt the meals were cooked on the day. Food Dill and saffron rice and the various sauces were cold. We mentioned this and were told it was warm. Not much to remedy the situation. Yes, energy prices are crazy, but the meals were not cheap. Fortunately, we had 2, 2 for 1 vouchers. They offered us 1 back. We declined. Cant recommend this restaurant unless the love and pride that was once present returns. It could have been excellent back in the day. But no longer. A real shame!"

A good persian restaurant in Darmstadt. The size of the portions a big enough to leave sated, I advise to try the icecream as a desert.

The restaurant offers excellent Iranian dishes which owe their characteristic flavours to ingredients like nuts and dry fruits. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful when it comes to explaining the dishes.

I ordered the mixed starter platter with all the appetizers. It was plenty of food, enough for one hungry person or two people. Oh boy, every sampler was delicious! The fried aubergines were particularly spectacular.

Delectable food, friendly staff and magical decor make dinner here a delight. The portion sizes are large and there is everything from vegetarian meals to fish, chicken and lamb dishes. I've been here several times and am sure to come again.

I have been dining at Shiraz regularly for the last 15 years, already before they moved to this new new location. My guests from Germany and abroad always enjoy the food and the service. If you like lamb, order the braised lamb shank. You won’t...regret it!

Things started with a slight hiccup we had explicitly asked for a table outside on the terrace and it had not been planned in, luckily that was resolved quickly. One point off for this it could have ruined the evening with friends. It's...a wonderful place to sit on a warm evening, the tables are also generously spaced out. The food was great, the service polite, professional but relaxed. Four of us shared a mixed appetiser which we knew from the sister restaurant Djadoo definitely a recommendation! Despite us hanging out until closing time, we were not hurried out of the restaurant. Well done for that! If you found my review helpful I would appreciate your vote.
