"We dined in September during some bad weather, apparently the first day of the year they didn 't serve food out on the terrace. All the windows and doors were shut at first which made the inside very 'close ', absolutely no air movement and my wife and I were getting quite uncomfortable. They eventually opened the massive sliding doors and let some breeze in, thankfully! Anyway... the food... we did the 7-course taster menu. All of it was nice looking, and fairly tasty, but not what I would call fine-dining, dare I say bland? But the service was excellent, and the whole feel of the place was very classy, I just think the food could have had a bit more pizzazz! Oh, and they give you some options of olive oil with your bread right at the start. We opted for the strongest oil, which was a mistake, it tasted like I was chewing on a tomato vine! This hasn 't affected my review, it 's my own fault for going full-bore, just a word of warning, go for the medium-strength olive oil!!"

Very poor experience at a very expensive restaurant. If you enjoy screaming babies during your fine dining experience or finding a bug in your wine to only have it replaced with a lesser vintage this is the spot for you. The courses were very fishy and the flavor combinations were very poor. Would not recommend at all. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €100+

I'm late to check Sensi. In short, the food experience of a life was. I was lucky to be treated with a Michelin experience a few weeks after my meal. Why? Sensi was from this world - only that good and the other 9 course meals could not compare! Icing on the cake was the wine pairing. If you enjoy wine, do not go here without the wine pairing, you must order the pairing, it was phenomenal. I don't think a restaurant in the states could even come near the wine pairing we had with our meal. I celebrated my 10th anniversary here, and I will never forget the care, professionalism and art of food and wine at Sensi. Thank you for one of the best meals of a life.

It’s clear that Sensi received its mention in the Michelin guide for making food look like art. Everything was presented beautifully, however this did not prevent Sensi from being the worst meal my husband and I had on our honeymoon, if not ever. If you don’t like lemons, don’t come here, everything has lemon. If you like lemons, don’t come here, they will ruin it for you forever. The food here was borderline inedible extremely fishy and if it wasn’t fishy then it tasted like a lemon pie. You don’t need your risotto to taste like pie. I considered leaving the meal early. Unfortunately, for the price and quality we would have much rather had 30 street sandwiches then come here again. Waste of...

This hidden gem is hard to find which makes it better as it’s not busy. Up the small stairs before the Duomo we arrived at the restaurant. We were the first ones in for lunch and got our choice of seats on the outside balcony overlooking the sea. We shared the burrata to start which was amazing. For mains I had the linguine tomato with basil and garlic which was cooked perfectly. My gf had the linguine zucchini with The shrimps which were cooked to perfection also.
