"My wife and I have sung here on a Saturday evening to enjoy a beautiful outdoor dining experience overlooking the small lake in Boblingen. Although we had no reservation, we immediately sat with the understanding that we need to share the table with other diners. This is quite common in Germany, so we had nothing at all. I was impressed that the food came to us relatively quickly, but after that the attention of the waiting staff was not present. If the service had been better, my assessment would have been easy four. We both started with the cream of the asparagus soup, which was very delicious. I chose the special of the week. It was a slightly fried St John Dory fish with many white asparagus covered in Béarnaise sauce with perfectly boiled hash browns. I really enjoyed it. My wife chose the salmon that came without sides. She also ordered a page of mushrooms that were the hit of the meal. These were perfectly cooked and lubricated in garlic butter. For four euros we had more mushrooms than we could eat, so fortunately we took home. She also ordered sweet potatoes that were simply average. We literally waited fifteen minutes to get someone's attention so we can pay the bill. As I mentioned, we felt like we were not in any human country. That shouldn't be the case. As a result, I cannot try this place in the future."

Within walking distance of friends, we stop in often for meals & drinks...nice salads... Patio seating is always busy so plan on taking your time...

Stopped here to have a light meal, the food was good and the prices were good to. It is located beside a park so nice to sit out and look out over the water.

Stopped in after a whirl at the local flea market... cold beer tasty cheeseburgers... we watched a parade go by and just enjoyed sitting in the sun. Service is always friendly, English spoken the price is right... we'll be back again.

We have tried mega burger, Argentinean steak and kids menu chicken breast. Burger and chicken breast was very good. Steak was served with fried vegetables but they were little bit too much fried. The food was overall good. The service was better.

Overlooking the lake we sat in the glassed area as we knew it wold cool after sundown. Good, well made and presented food, service was OK, took a couple of attempts to attract attention on a couple of occassions. Certainly a restaurant/bar I'd return to.

Very nice restaurant overlooking the lake. The variation of food is extended and are all delicious (especially those who love burgers). A tip: Before you order food, check out the offer menu, you can surprisingly find something that satisfies your taste and purse.

Visited twice during an extended stay in the city. This place has such amazing food that we made it our last stop! One of the best meat dishes during my two week stay in Boeblingen. Caramelized nouns toping and sauce around the stake was very good. I travel to Germany 3 to 4 times a year, desserts are normally bland. This place broke the mold. One of the best galete like and crumble style berry dish I have ever had! Staff was very kind, friendly and helpful with us as foreigners!

Nice cozy restaurant and beer garden just on the small lake of Boeblingen, the only nice spot in this ugly town. The quality of the food is very good, the service is excellent with a young staff of friendly and smiling people.Prices are absolutely affordable. The place is perfect both leisure but also for business meetings, In summer you have the chance to seat outside and enjoy the lake view.I definitely recommend anybody who wants to have a pleasant lunch in Boeblingen to go to this place, there is no way you will get disappointed.
