This is a great restaurant in Berlin's Mitte district. The fish - which you select from a fish counter -- is grilled to perfection and beautifully presented. The service was excellent.

Had delicious food at this lovely place. Got to choose different fish from the counter which was a brilliant idea. Lovely sides, lots of fresh, warm bread. All waiters and waitresses were very friendly. Would visit again, next time in Berlin.

Stopped in for a late dinner. Had octopus (maybe steamed) not the usually grilled. Wasn't bad, could have been cooked another 1 minute. Also had barramundi, a nice soft white fish. VG tomato salad and fries . Local wine and beer . Very nice and friendly service. Nice atmosphere open kitchen behind glass. You pick your own fish and weight

Recommended by my hotel and tried it out after having too much meat in the previous days. Excellent ambience and decor. Great selection of appetizers, and the fresh fish they grilled for me (sea bream / dorado) was grilled to perfection. Excellent and attentive service. As a seafood lover I am always a little suspicious of a seafood restaurant that is not on the coast. Happily this place allayed my suspicions immediately. The service is first rate, the advice offered by the staff is helpful without seeming to contain any sales bias. My meal was most enjoyable, one word of warning though, this is not the place to eat if you are on a budget. It is worth every cent but it's not cheap.

A modern, but chic restaurant. Obviously popular, as front of house staff asked if we had a reservation & the restaurant was busy. Nice atmosphere & ambience.Our waitress was very friendly & spoke great English. She provided an attentive and good service. The best service we have experienced in Berlin during our holiday. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We had fish & chips and moules frites. Both dishes were flavoursome & very tasty. Great choices. The fish & chips wasn't too large or overwhelming, but cooked to perfection. Just the right amount & not greasy at all. Chunky chips were crisp on outside, hot & fluffy inside. As I entered Seaside today, I recalled the sweet Canadian lobster and fresh cod of a few months ago, together with the lunch special of fish and chips (hake with gluten free chips) 10 days ago.One is spoiled for choice at the fresh fish counter where you can choose type of fish which, it is claimed, are from sustainable sources. I decided on sea bass accompanied by a simple salad, and a glass of Chablis. The fillet was grilled to perfection and the mixed leaf salad (with a couple of cherry tomatoes, seeds, and dried beetroot) was exceptional: the vinaigrette gently enhancing the delicate flavours of the leaves.
