"We stayed on 7.10.2016 in Schweinske Only so much: The new Schweinske has nothing more together with the predecessor or other Schweinske restaurant. 1. Bad access to the table reservation (False phone number on the Internet 2. Very loud and bad atmosphere 3. Furnished as in the fast restaurant 4. Not professional (without gastronomy training? 5. Small portions and high prices 6. They are constantly harassed with Sky's sports program, although no Bundesliga games are broadcast. This is not advantageous for a restaurant! I have to make the difference between the sports bar and the restaurant clear. The menu is based on the Schweinske concept. Unfortunately, prices are higher than in other Schweinske restaurants or online. Prices on the Internet should already be consistent. I can't find it! The service didn't even ask if it was lubricated or if we wanted to order something else. A dry bread is served in the basket with cutlery. And that for two people! Without herbal butter or another bath! What's going on? Normal part for an adult man quite small with little sauce. The portions can also be ordered as XXL or have portions. The whole food is like in a snack bar only there you pay less. I would set up an area without a TV, where there is only food and save my service. As a self-service restaurant with adjusted prices, I would come back."

Party of 16 of us visited last night and ate, drank and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I had a wonderful meal, 3 beers, 2 glasses of wine at a cost of approx. 24-26 Euro. Everyone enjoyed themselves tremendously. Well done!

Have visited Schweinske's in other German cities so knew what to expect. They mainly serve various pork and chickens dishes, but also burgers and salads. They have German and English menus, (and also a children's menu) and the staff are friendly. Restaurant was clean, and full of locals on a Friday night which is always a good sign. They have a small children's area with toys and games. Service was a little slow, but the food was good.

Schweinske is as close as you'll get to a diner in Europe without it being some type of disappointing let-down. I had the Schweini-Menü (a sandwich, fries, and a tiny salad). For 5€ I have to say it was a really great little lunch that left me satisfied. Very delicious, too. Their menu still says they serve breakfast until 12:00 Mon-Fri, but they don't. (Only on weekends). That said, I will definitely be back as there seemed to be a bunch of other great looking items on offer. Cute menu design!

The last weekend, we were there...the worst decision to eat when dortmund game finishedJust we entried into the restaurant, we tried to ask the waiter (horrible, stressed waiter) and before I opened my mouth, he said us "fully, completed" and he left the conversation...We were surprised because there were empty tables, more less 5-6. We tried to ask another staff person (waitress) and she said the same, but with better behavior. We talked that there were some empty tables and if it was possible seated and drink/eat something...We seated the worst table (with vases and flowers) and we kept impacted for the situation...many empty tables, not reservate them (because german people that entry hav...
