"I went there with my colleagues and we were very disappointed by the owner's appraisal that was not friendly. I ordered a normal rumpsteak with mash and fries and got a steak with mash and swirling! I said the wrong court came, but. I had to eat it because the owner refused to serve me what I ordered! Moreover, I paid a very expensive bill that only a beer and the only court was drinking. euro! it was not possible to share the total amount in the same share with the other colleagues! the owner refused to accept payments with credit card that take the money and fill it the reeipet only after reei no longer go there for the rest of my life!"

This is an olde worlde style restaurant serving atypical Germanic style food in a Germanic feeling environment. The food was good, plentiful and the service was pleasant. Note Cash only

I would ignore the negative reviews. This place was a great value, cozy inside, very friendly and accommodating staff, and most importantly had great food. The green cabbage was prepared quite nice!

we were on the hunt for fantastic carving to finish our trip. we were not disappointed! probably the best carving we ever had, and paired with an authentic “Biestube” atmosphere it was a perfect evening.

good German meal with standard dishes and good beer. the staff was incredibly friendly and nice, more than the visit and worth the price of the meal. we really enjoyed eating, but above all the friendly and friendly approach. two up!

The serving sizes are harty and large, and the food greasy but delicious. This is typical traditional german pub food. it has not been elevated, they have not deviated from the original recipes and if thats what youre looking for this is a pretty...good and afforable place to eat. The service is wonderfully bizarre (much like the owner) and will make for a good story afterwards.

This small German restaurant is a great place to eat out in Celle. The owner of this restaurant is a lively old man, who greets all his guests with a smile and a handshake. I tried pork knuckles the first time. It was really great....Went there second time for same Pork knuckles and unfortunately, this time the gentleman had no more knuckles. Anyway it is a good place for dinner in Celle.

We intended to have a beer in some bar and ended up here, sharing table with a lovely local couple who shared their knowledge about the city with us. We decided, also encouraged by this couple, to stay here for lunch and ordered the home...speciality, some sort of cooked vegetables with both cooked and fried potatoes and a quite big pork sausage. It was really good actually and at a very fair price, we would go back anytime. The atmosphere is great and the owner will make you feel at home.

We were staying in the center of the town of Celle and decided to have some local beer and eat some good local German food. The ambiance inside this small restaurant is very nice, there are tables located throughout the restaurant with the center piece...being the large bar. We had the opportunity to taste the local beer of the region which was very good. For our dinner we had the local dishes of the town, which were freshly prepared and very tasty. The portions are quit large so be prepared to eat alot.

"Recently I found myself in Celle again on a combined business/pleasure trip. Already having eaten at Schweine Schulze (see review there), this time we headed to Le Feu.Le Feu is situated in an old Fachwerkhaus, but that is not too unexpected as in Celle the old character and hauses have been preserved. That is until the socialist party got a majority in the city council and started to demolish old hauses. I think they were voted out before they could damage more than one street that is now an eyesore in Celle.Anyway, back to Le Feu. As the name already indicates there is a bit of a French influence, which translates itself to a lot of dishes with an Alsacian/Lorraine influence like the Elzasser Flammkuche/Tarte Flambée Alsacienne, or, in regular english: The Alsacian version of the Italian Pizza, but with a variety of toppings. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The owners/managers are welcoming and friendly just as the staff is. Service was prompt. Ordered several varieties of Flammkuche in sequenceI prefer the more traditional savory Flammkuche, with onions and bacon. My date had a mexican and a hawaiian. All tasted great. Though I am not really into beer, when in germany do as the germans so topped it off with some great german beer.Had a lovely evening. Bill was a pleasant surprise. Definitely good quality for your euro.Le Feu caters for people with several food allergies."
