"We stayed in this hotel for four nights. It is a very dog friendly hotel. There were also very large dogs in the breakfast room. The breakfast and the multi-course dinner are really good and highly recommended. At the end we had a six-course menu, which surprised us very positively. The service was mixed. Very attentive and friendly at breakfast, half the service was grumpy, the other half friendly. Room service was lackluster. Just throwing down the duvet, we have never experienced anything like this on our travels. The room could not be darkened, the curtains let the street light through. We had the room with a very steep staircase. Since the steps here were very narrow, luggage transport was a real problem. No help was offered through the service either. The room also only had a toilet across the hall. So the room had to be left at night, too. The shower in the bathroom was either cold or hot, the thermostat was probably broken. Although we complained about this with the junior, there was no remedy during our stay. From my point of view, this room in this location is an impertinence. The stairs are dangerous and certainly not open to the public with these steps. When we left we were not asked about our experiences. It probably doesn't matter. Overall, light and shadow changed. We can only advise older people not to stay in our room. However, the restaurant has our unreserved recommendation."

Very nice accommodation in the Schäferwagen. Clean and cozy. We had to clean showers and teeth with the water on the campsite in the wellness area of the hotel because of hygiene problems. Why the cakes are praised, however, we do not understand: Inconvenient cakes made from too dry biscuit and butter cream, which do not reproduce the summer variety of fruits in July. we were recently on a Tuesday afternoon at 15:30 a.m. to drink with 3 persons coffee. as the first noticed negatiw that the parking lot was closed with a heavy iron barrier, in front of a sign that free parking is allowed only with sufficient consumption. what is that? who sets the when? and if I park there already in a negative decision? they also look at location to enjoy the view of the maar on a rear place in the local or on the terrace. but they said there would be no other cover of the places, but we should drive forward to the road. we had wondered why almost everything was occupied here, because on the road they can finally sit everywhere.
