"Wir wollten einen schönen Abend in der Schumachers Scheune verbringen. Die Begrüßung war nicht gerade einladend. Man kam sich unerwünscht vor. Lag es vielleicht daran, dass wir nicht reserviert haben? Oder doch an unseren Kindern? Wir hatten 3 kleine Kinder dabei und zwei Kinderwagen. Ich fragte höflich nach heißem Wasser für eine Flasche fertig zu machen. Die Chefin des Ladens verdrehte die Augen. Daraufhin bekam ich aber ein Kännchen heißes Wasser. Wir wurden darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass wir doch bitte den Kinderwagen zur Seite schieben sollen, damit man an den Tischen vorbeikommt. Kein Problem für uns! Aber geht es etwas freundlicher? Die Getränke hatten wir bereits bestellt aber diese bekamen wir nicht mehr zu sehen, da der Koch nämlich aus der Küche kam. Ich vermute es war der Chef. Er war sehr aufbrausend und plärrte rum, wir sollen doch gefälligst zusehen, dass die Kinder zurück an den Tisch kommen. Falls das nicht direkt passiert sollen wir doch verschwinden. Ich merke an, dass wir in diesem Zeitpunkt die ersten und einzigen waren. Die beiden Kindern 1 Jahr und 2 Jahre waren am Nachbarstisch und schauten nach einem Sitzkissen. Wow, wie dramatisch! Nun ja, dieses unverschämte Verhalten tolerierten wir nicht und sind gegangen. Für mich 0 Sterne!"

Wenn die Bedienung etwas freundlicher wäre, gäbe es mehr Sterne. Das Essen ist gut. Das Ambiente für alle, die das Rustikale lieben, sehr gut.

Bei schönem Wetter haben wir im etwas rustikalen Aussenbereich gesessen. Sehr netter, guter Service. Rumpsteak und Wurstsalat mit Bratkartoffeln waren okay.

Waren mit 2 Paaren in dem Lokal um vor dem Konzert am See zu essen. Ankunft um 17.50 Uhr. Trotz mehrmaliger Nachfrage verließen wir das Lokal um 19.50 Uhr ohne gegessen zu haben. Es hieß immer kommt gleich. 2 Stunden Wartezeit sind einfach nicht akzeptabel. Voir le carte

We were there for the first time today. price/performance top. All fresh. Appetizer and main dish top. The service personnel are all very nice. We can recommend the restaurant. Very nice ambience. Everything very well maintained and clean. Thank you for the very nice evening.

on a large parking lot in the middle of the village stands this former scheune, which has been lovingly and up to the detailed disguised and fantastically decorated. on 2 flats, airy rooms with exciting views. the attention and the perfect service begins at the greeting and also really ends only at the farewell of the guest. the menu offers regional cuisine with a supplier certificate for the products used. we had a bark-force broth with a flaky, a tagliatelle with a birne and a pumpkin, a peasant paste with fresh broth. the food, the presentation and the taste were quite large kitchen. the fact that the owners also support the slowfood movement, underlines the claim of the house of quality...

"Today we made a small trip to the north of Saarland in a rainy but dry weather, to Losheim an See, although our intended destination would have been Lake Bostal. That's it. Actually, we really wanted to feel comfortable in the Hochwälder Wohlfühlhotel with coffee and cake; but was not. The hotel has no own café and the restaurant opens according to the very friendly lady at the reception only for large groups; a large group we were not at the best will. We didn't want to run to the Maison au lac because too far, and so we landed short-circuited right next to the hotel in the already known high-forest brewhouse . Ambience: brewhouse remains brewhouse, no matter where: plenty of wood, copper brewing boilers, rustic tables and rustic seating, no noise insulation speaks when it is full it is also loud to very loud. The salami was very good, the dark peasant bread also and the shrimp as promised abundant. The portion was so big that my wife (we had already eaten at home at noon) made himself a doggy bag with salami and peasant bread. My Hirschburger was delicious. I also liked that he was not cooked but medium with a tendency to rare; I love Burger. The Buns' lid was painted with the same beer jam and the burger rested on three thick tomato slices, which I quickly removed before the burger was consumed, and a cucumber salad bed and the Bun bottom.
