"I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight with my partner, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The food was fantastic, and every staff member was attentive and exceptionally friendly! It was clear that other diners were also enjoying themselves, and the atmosphere was amazing. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Skeg! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20."

"Visited with friends for an evening meal after hearing good reviews about the place. As usual I'll get the moans out of the way first, there are only 2 but unfortunately they are both about the meal.. I thought being an Italian restaurant having calamari would be a safe bet, wrong, it was so overcooked it was like chewing elastic bands. Mains, was a king prawn dish with pasta. It came with chips, unfortunately I was that hungry, I'd eaten half of it before I realised, the actual king prawn dish was lovely, but who has an Italian dish with chips? On the plus side, the place itself is nice, clean and comfortable, the staff and nice and friendly and the service was good, not having to wait long for your meal, there was also a good selection of wines available."

"As holiday makers nearby we ordered a takeaway and we were both so impressed by the food. My prawn starter was delicious and the prawns were huge! "We love going to Skeggy and always go to Mario’s on the last night. This has been happening for around 10 years so we were a bit shocked to hear it had changed hands, and name, but were hopeful that the food would still be as nice. Long story short, it isn’t. The chicken, was virtually inedible, clearly frozen rather than fresh, tough as old boots. my missus left all hers, but doesn’t like to complain, especially as some other people were complaining about something and we felt for the waitress who was very young, very friendly though which is always nice. I’ll keep my eye on the reviews and hopefully we’ll see an improvement so we can return. My missus says we’re not going back though, so we probably not lol. In all seriousness though, we’re pretty gutted to lose the best restaurant In Skegness."

"There are several Italian restaurants in this area and by looking at the pictures and driving past this one looked lovely. We booked and when we arrived the front of house gentleman was very polite and seated us straight down. I can only describe the restaurant as a little Aladdin’s cave it was beautifully decorated and to be able to watch the chief cook our food was the icing on the cake. We had previously looked at the menu online and when we got there there was an updated menu with one of the dishes we wanted not on it. We asked if it was still possible to order it and he said no problem. The food was amazing and the service was excellent with a very friendly atmosphere, the portions were extremely generous and was even given a doggy bag to take our left overs home. Will definitely be going back when here again."
