"There were 6 of us for a last minute meal at Sambuccas. Our first time to the Peterlee branch. We phoned to book a table about 30 mins beforehand and were lucky to get one for us all. Once there we were served by Siako who I had also spoken to on the phone and he was a great host. He made us feel comfortable and had a bit of banter and helped us when we asked a million questions. He is a credit to the team! Thank you for a yummy meal. Empty plates all round for starters, mains and desserts!"

They do lovely pasta dishes, and very nice choice on the specials board.Usually go for the three course deal, which is unbeatable value.

I feel like the cook felt like I was sleeping with his wife. just so I can explain why it was so bad that it was really personal. the chips were not cooked. how can they not cook chips.

that was really nice to eat, but on the board from the front it said £8.95 for Sunday lunch, but we were charged £10.95 every one when I was scared, I was told that it was inflation, sure is that illegal?
