"We were staying at the Royal Crescent hotel and a short walk from there we stumbled upon this very small restaurant. A short look at Tripadvisor convinced us to book for the evening meal. So glad we did and that a table was available. As...others have said this is a very compact restaurant and as such the atmosphere is best described as lively. The waiter (suspect he may be the owner) was excellent and as we had a view of the open kitchen from our table we can confirm that the two chefs worked incredibly hard. The food was excellent and there is no better compliment than to say if we are ever back in the area we would go there again."

absolutely beautiful, authentic food and wine. the food arrived quickly and was hot, fresh and tasty. will definitely be back at our next visit in bath!

Lovely small restaurant, the sea bass was fantastic and great value. Very prompt and attentive service and lovely waiting staff. Brilliant location too. Book ahead though!

A firm favourite that never disappoints. Taking advantage of a late summer warm evening, enjoyed supper outside at our favourite Italian. Perfect. Good service, good choice and good food.

6/5 stars value for money. Everything was amazing. I particularly love reustarants that do not automatically add service charge, it shows real authenticity and confidence in their product. Of course I leave tips and above 15% in these instances so it is a win win

Was visiting Bath for a few days and a local told us how good this restaurant is. It was excellent. Ate with my wife and two children (14 and 12), plenty of choice for all. An absolute delight to eat in a non branded restaurant....Excellent food and very friendly owner and staff.

A lovely homely feel to the place. A limited menu means the food is always to a great standard. The specials looked very welcoming too. The service was very personal and very good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great. We sat upstairs and there...was a great buzz and smell coming from the kitchen. Highly recommend.

we were in bath for the day and wanted to eat bijou somewhere. really from the main hub. what a sound! a small decent and varied menu with some specialties of the day. good eating, decent drinking and attentive service. the captain seemed a little gruff, so could be a bit more inviting. Apart from that, everything was nice.

we stumbled over this restaurant while we explore the bathroom and it was fully booked. so we booked for the following evening. delicious food. I had clams in brothcrumbs and my mother the lasagne, both were delicious. the glass wine that my mother ordered was a very generous size compared to other restaurants. the tiramisu was wonderful. definitiw book or they will not get a table even mid week!.

close to the royal crescent, this pretty small Italian restaurant is not located directly in the center of bath, but not more than 7 or 8 minutes walk from the abbey. we found it by thinking of a snack lunch and were so impressed that we booked for dinner. the next night. we were not disappointed. unusually warm weather meant eating outside, an additional charm. but the main thing was quite exceptionally good eating genuine Italian cuisine to its best.
