What a lovely, awesome place. Great food, nice atmosphere. I went here for my birthday and it was really, really good!

Food was lush 5 star service and would recommend this bar /restaurant to anyone and i would definitely be going there again well worth the spend

Lovely meal and fantastic Peruvian cocktails. The salsa lesson after was an unexpected bonus and the staff were so warm and friendly. Would definitely return.

Having travelled to Peru many times and enjoyed the unique taste of Peruvian cuisine, I was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in Newcastle. Our food was absolutely delicious! If you’re looking for an authentic Peruvian experience, be sure to give this place a try.

We are local to the area and searched for a new restaurant to visit and Rumba was highly recommended on TripAdvisor. The restaurant opens late, so was quiet when we were arrived at 6pm, but I suspect is lively later on. The food and drinks were beautiful and the hospitality was next level. We will definitely be going back, great find!

The food was well presented. It was full of flavour and all credit to the chef. Host/hostess were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely eat here again, however, maybe later in the evening. We get the feeling that it gets more lively later in the evening. The atmosphere was lacking somewhat as we were only one of 2 couples in a restaurant that could take 30 covers.

I hadn’t tried this restaurant before but fell in love with South American food when travelling last year and so have wanted to try it for a while. This meal was absolutely outstanding, the seafood was so fresh and the flavours were fabulous. On top of that, the service was amazing , Chinzia was a joy to talk to the pisco sours are definitely with a try! Very good value for money with a bonus shot to say goodbye. We will definitely be back.

Great experience! The ceviche was really amazing! And the staff so helpful and lovely! I am happy I was recommended this place. As soon as I got there I got the super lovely service from Coco. He suggested a couple of options and I took the ceviche and the lomo asado. In the meantime I even had the opportunity to speak with the chef. Unfortunately since I had to take the train really soon I realised I needed my second plate to be wrapped for takeaway. They did that and helped me pay and leave as soon as possible, successfully making it to the train where I finished my meal. Thank you very much!

We stumbled across this little gem on our way to digital nightclub. Had an absolute fab few hours here, everything about this place was a 5 star experience! The food and drinks were outstanding, very delicious, homemade, authentic. The prices were decent too. The best part of our experience was the host/owner Coco and his family! We were made to feel very welcome, had free salsa lessons and ended up dancing the night away in the restaurant to great music after our meal and a few tequilas! The birthday girl got a free tequila of course. Would 100 percent recommend. This is a must visit restaurant in Newcastle!!!
