Lovely meal and fantastic Peruvian cocktails. The salsa lesson after was an unexpected bonus and the staff were so warm and friendly. Would definitely return.

This place is quiet for some reason, but the friendly couple who own it serve delicious food. Give it a try - you won't regret it! Make sure to also try the Cusqueña beer - it's delicious!

I stumbled upon this gem near the station in Newcastle. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. The beef in soy sauce was flavorful and satisfying. The cocktails were great as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Voir le carte

Having travelled to Peru many times and enjoyed the unique taste of Peruvian cuisine, I was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in Newcastle. Our food was absolutely delicious! If you’re looking for an authentic Peruvian experience, be sure to give this place a try.

We are local to the area and searched for a new restaurant to visit and Rumba was highly recommended on TripAdvisor. The restaurant opens late, so was quiet when we were arrived at 6pm, but I suspect is lively later on. The food and drinks were beautiful and the hospitality was next level. We will definitely be going back, great find!

The food was well presented. It was full of flavour and all credit to the chef. Host/hostess were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely eat here again, however, maybe later in the evening. We get the feeling that it gets more lively later in the evening. The atmosphere was lacking somewhat as we were only one of 2 couples in a restaurant that could take 30 covers. Voir le carte

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. The ceviche was light, fresh, and full of flavor, while the Lomo and Gallina dishes were delicious. The churros were a perfect way to end the meal. I highly recommend trying the Pisco sours cocktail - it really added to the authentic Peruvian experience. In my opinion, this is the best Peruvian food in Newcastle.

I hadn’t tried this restaurant before but fell in love with South American food when travelling last year and so have wanted to try it for a while. This meal was absolutely outstanding, the seafood was so fresh and the flavours were fabulous. On top of that, the service was amazing , Chinzia was a joy to talk to the pisco sours are definitely with a try! Very good value for money with a bonus shot to say goodbye. We will definitely be back.

We stumbled across this little gem on our way to digital nightclub. Had an absolute fab few hours here, everything about this place was a 5 star experience! The food and drinks were outstanding, very delicious, homemade, authentic. The prices were decent too. The best part of our experience was the host/owner Coco and his family! We were made to feel very welcome, had free salsa lessons and ended up dancing the night away in the restaurant to great music after our meal and a few tequilas! The birthday girl got a free tequila of course. Would 100 percent recommend. This is a must visit restaurant in Newcastle!!! Voir le carte
