"We went on Wednesday evening and was so happily we did. It was not our first choice we looked at all the restaurants by the sea (as this one does not have a sea view). But, we are planning another holiday to New quay or near by so we can come back to this restaurant. Two members of our party have food allergies and the waitress checked twice to get it right and the chef came out to check as well we felt so looked after and like they wanted us to enjoy the food and not worry about feeling rubbish later which is very uncommon in larger restaurants (personally had some awful experience). The food was delicious, I would say underpriced for the size of the potion and the quality of the food! It was just what we needed after a long day on the sea paddle boarding. The waitress and the chef were amazing, so welcoming with great service. The restaurant itself is cosy and inviting, comfy chairs and really funky cutlery which I liked a lot. It’s deffo a locals restaurant and a great one go visit."

A little gem very uncomplicated, not overly fussy or up itsrlf!.....we had good food great service. All beyond our expectations...this is well worth a visit. We are in new quay every summer (June) and this is our first visit to Rossini's...won't be our last. What a star our waitress was!

This restaurant was a fantastic find. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. They do not allow outside alcohol but there is a corkage fee available. Bringing your own alcohol definitely makes for a cheaper meal. I highly recommend this place. We are local and will definitely be returning to eat here whenever possible.

This is a fantastic little, down to earth, Italian restaurant. The owner young waitress really went out of their way to be friendly, chatty welcoming. This welcome was extended to our two little dogs also. We had the whitebait, calamari the seafood chilli spaghetti. Absolutely superb quality excellent service to boot. Highly recommend this little gem of a place. (it's unlicensed, so don't forget to bring your own alcohol).

What a pleasant surprise! We decided to dine here two nights ago, as it was the only restaurant open past 8:30pm (including takeout) in July, a city bustling with tourists. Despite being full, we managed to book a table for 8:30pm the next evening. We were delighted with the delicious food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. The portion sizes were generous, and we wished there were more late-night dining options in New Quay for families with young children.

This restaurant in New Quay is a hidden gem. It can be difficult to secure a table, but the effort is well worth it. The pan-roasted halibut I had here was probably the best I've had in the past 10 years. The staff is delightful and the kitchen team goes above and beyond to ensure guests are satisfied with their meal. The atmosphere is safe and welcoming, with every effort made to ensure guests leave with a smile and a desire to return soon. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

"Great food and been there many times. As a party of 7, with 3 children under 6 years, thought best to book a table. Told on the phone that they don 't take bookings. Arrived early and found a large table, and just as the other 6 were arriving I was told the table was booked! If I 'd known I would have found another cafe. As it was we waited ages for a table with small children milling around, complete with dirty looks from staff. Disappointing. Some suggestions on how you could have dealt with the situation better: 1. Let us stay on the table until another table was ready, as the party for the reserved table did not turn up for over half an hour. 2. Apologise that the table was not clearly marked as reserved. There was a bottle that I noticed much later, where 'reserved ' was written on only one side, which faced the kitchen. 3. The waiter should have mentioned the reservation rather giving me menus and taking a coffee order while I waited. 4. The waiters (yes several, I must have looked like trouble) who turfed me off the table just as my family were arriving could have explained why the table was reserved when i had been unable to reserve a table because, as you said on the phone, you 'don 't take reservations '. You replied that it was reserved for a 'private party ' and when I asked how that differed from a table booking, you kept repeating the words 'private party '. I was none the wiser. 5. An apology would have gone a long way rather than treating me as a difficult customer. 6. You made me feel totally unwelcome at your restaurant. 7. Well done! Your service, or rather the lack of it, has lost a formerly loyal customer. Quite frankly I 'd rather eat at MacDonalds, at least they 're polite to their customers.
