Not many gluten free options but the lamb cutlets are to die for. Also has a great atmosphere as it's in a square with lots of good bars and restaurants.

non sono per la novità ma è stato un pranzo unico e molto delizioso. questo anche grazie al proprietario e alla gentile cameriera che ci ha seguito e consigliato. Sembrava essere a casa! Congratulazioni! Raccomando vivamente di tornare a gustare l'agnello

If you've read many of my reviews you will know that this is just the type of place i try and hunt out in when we visit somewhere. Its a bit of a walk out of the main tourist strip but worth it. We arrived a little after 1pm. It was full of locals. Lots of workmen finishing their lunch. Really good home cooked food at very reasonable prices. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

First night in Lucca and strolled by this place , looked at the menu and thought it had good options and not overly priced because it was a bit away from the tourist areas. The food was good and friendly servers. A bit slow because but overall a great first night. We had Splits on the food since it was a long travel day. Split the salad, pizza and gnocchi. Very good. Recommend if you're in the area. Inside and outside seating. the guitar player in the piazza didn't hurt either.
