The most miserable staff ever encountered. Very slow service! Banana cake burnt! Staff didn’t even apologise just replaced. Gave stars as coffee good , but no atmosphere staff don’t even smile at each other. Lifeless place

With a live pianist, gorgeous selection of wines and coffees, modern decor and attentive knowledgeable staff, ropes and twines is a must visit for a reflective coffee or relaxed catch up with friends. This would be a good date spot!

Visited Liverpool for a weekend and wanted something light to eat without going to well known chain places. Stumbled across this. One of the nicest sandwiches, the bread was lovely. Reasonable priced too. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Voir le carte

wow, just stunning! very clean cut interieur. gins, know about his wee are 5 stars, enjoyed by the stylish wing played in the background was delightful. chilled vibes through and excellent service of all beautiful coworkers. we will be back soon!

Popped into this place for a quick glass of wine with the wife. Excellent choice of wines and coffee and the welcome addition of live music on a Saturday night. Wasn't sure what to have so the barman recommended something and even gave us a...taster first too. Would definitely return.

Very good coffee and we enjoyed a very tasty sandwich here,amid very smart decor and furnishings.Good to see more of these independent coffee shops springing up in Liverpool.Note that there is a great choice of wines served here,but the prices here for wines are high,and...morning is too early for us to start on the alcohol! This was my first visit after the lockdown and was VERY impressed with the coffee, sandwiches and desserts. Can easily say that the coffee is the best in town and the sandwiches with cured ham are delicious. Had lemon meringue pie for dessert and it...was so yummy!. The staff are super friendly, always with a smile on their faces. Very welcoming place.

We were looking for an independent coffee shop and came across Ropes Twines. It has a relaxing atmosphere, The staff are friendly and VERY helpful as our young granddaughter is lactose intolerant and when asked about dairy free options she said they have oat...milk and the chocolate used for the hot chocolate is vegan which was great as she wanted one. My wife ordered one of their teas which is served in a little cast iron teapot and a tea bowl. Also it is only a couple of minutes up bold street from Liverpool central station.

We stopped here for rest and a pot of tea for two along with cake. The service was very attentive a bootle of water was delivered to the table, and the staff were lovely. Some tables are under cover and it had a very mediterrean...feel to it, staff were bringing extra seats and tables out accommodate everybody, We had Yorkshire tea in a pot although the menu had lots of different teas for example Earl grey. The lemon meringue tart is Devine so much so we took another slice home with us so full of flavour I believe it is made on site. We will defiantly be coming back as we need to sample other desserts but will always take a slice of lemon meringue tart home with us Voir le carte
