Rodizio Rico - Islington

Just been to the Rodizio Rico (Islington) for the first time. Meat was cooked great, salad was good, cocktail was the best. Only downside check the bill tried to charge twice when already paid up front via Groupon definitely one to try

I visited this restaurant over the weekend with my family and we received excellent service. The staff was friendly, the salad bar and hot section offered plenty of variety, and there was a wide selection of meat. Despite the restrictions in place, we had a fantastic evening.

Overall, the meats were tender and of good quality. The servers were generous with the Picanha and other cuts. The lamb was slightly overcooked, but the service was excellent. The salad bar had a fresh and varied selection. The drinks were reasonably priced. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

We have been at rodizios a few times with friends and family and in general the overall experience is a good one! Sometimes it’s annoying when they come to your table only with cheap meat options but then again your turn comes and you get served with picaña which in my opinion is the best meat they serve

Went on a Saturday evening. Was busy. We wanted to experience this new way of dining. The salad bar was different but fresh and plentiful. Staff were very attentive couldn’t fault them. However the meat was not to our liking, it was fatty and grizzly. Meal for two(full price no vouchers) with two alcoholic drinks was £80, expensive for what we ate.

The restaurant has implemented full Covid19 rules, with all food now being served at the table instead of at a buffet. There is a wide variety of meat options available, including beef, lamb, ham, chicken, fish, and pork. It is recommended to take a look at what is included in the buffet before sitting down so you know what you want to order. The restaurant is offering an "Eat Out to Help Out" promotion, making it a great value for the price. Unfortunately, this promotion ends on October 15th.

We have been here a few times but not recently. However we picked this out as a restaurant we wanted to try again. We were truly disappointed. A lot of the meat was very salty and being cynical I would say that was to get you to buy more drinks. The prices have gone up considerably since the last time we went which we knew before we went but was definitely not worth the money. For a Saturday night the place when we left (around 9.39 was only 10% full so maybe says something. 10% service is automatically added to the bill but we were asked if we wanted to add an additional tip as well! Given the choice of restaurants in the area I would not go back.

The food at this restaurant is superb freshly barbecued meats served immediately off the skewer at the table by meat waiters . The salads are lovely and varied, including a whole range of items not usually seen on a buffet table such as deep fried bananas! We went on a Thursday evening when the restaurant was about two thirds full. They did not have enough waiters. Our deal included a cocktail which wasn 't delivered till we were well into the meal. We had hoped to have the cocktail first then buy some red wine to accompany the meet but the general waiters were so hard to engage with that we just had the cocktails. Busy bustling atmospher rather hot. But a lovely restaurant for serious meat...

We visited on a Sunday afternoon when it remained only 1/4 full.
