we had a nice trip from rock salt sole. it was fast, fresh and delicious. they were out of cod and koleslaw when we visited. it is a bit on the expensive side, but good to know, it is fresh and local to banchory. good portion sizes and there is also a seating option.

visited tonight while on the way to the house of motorcycle tour. I have to say it was the best fish and chips I had for a long time. I have unfortunately abandoned my order, but the owner (I suspect) was quick to correct. this is my new stop at cycling. excellent customer service. thanks for a great meal.

Saturday night fish and chips with my mother. we decided to eat and were very welcome. personal very pleasant and attentive. we chose the senior option from the menu. two pieces of delicious fish, covered in the most delicious teig, brot and butter and two pots tee. would definitely recommend and will be back.

I'm very picky about fish and chips. Rock salt sole never fails to satisfy our taste buds. I got to say aswell what lovely staff too, always a smile and taking the time to have a natter while they get the awesome fish suppers ready for you. A wee nice touch is my son is always offered a lollipop. I would give you more stars if I could

Super fish supper tonight in Banchory! Paul and his team have just got the batter mix down to the right crispness, the fish (haddock) was properly fresh, mushy peas were sublime, and it's inspiring to see lobster, hake and tiger prawns on the menu. Love the passion for innovation and respect for tradition! Next time will try the battered lemon sole. Thanks for a great supper at the end of a fairly dreich day.
