"We spent two nights in Baden-Baden. While exploring the Lichtentaler Allee, with the park and fountains, we checked out the menus of restaurants and cafe's and Rizzi's was interesting to me because they had three items which included scallops (Jacob's Muscheln), which I love. The restaurant is located near the Atlantic Park Hotel and the Brenners Park Hotel, very central and near the Kurhaus and casino. When we got back to our hotel we had the front desk make us a reservation for Rizzi. The weather was exquisite and we sat outside on the popular patio. The ambience was lively, with pleasant lighting. My husband was very pleased with his oysters on the half shell starter, as was I with a small salad and house-made French dressing (a vinaigrette). Very fresh. My husband got the seared Tuna and I got Scallops on a bed of mashed potatoes with black truffle sauce. The only negative is that the mash potatoes appeared and tasted to be out of a box, not house-made. But all-in-all a pleasant experience. We will go back."
