Excel locating. Eye catching by view. Service was okay. High tea was excellent except avocado sandwiches. Hardly any avocado in it.

Excellent restaurant! My steak was cooked to perfection. The staff were both professional and friendly, and the setting by the river was beautiful.

A little disappointing overall, it is definitely a great setting and the service was good but the food on this occasion was nothing to shout about. I have had better from our local Indian restaurant! Voir le carte

Just a brief note of sincere appreciation for the kindly and courteous personal attention we were given yesterday by our waiter dealing with our large party for tea. He would be a credit to any organisation and I would certainly come again .

The waiters were helpful but the food was disappointing, the 35 day dry age steak had very little flavour and it was very hit and miss with a gluten free option. The pudding was disappointing, overall it was a disappointing experience and will not return.

Terrible food… the crispy squid was soggy, the Monkfish was small and just sitting on some cold raw vegetables. It was like stepping into a restaurant of the seventies, dark, drab. The seating area next to the river was narrow with no umbrellas. We were kindly refunded for our lunch Voir le carte

My mom and I enjoyed afternoon tea at the riverside restaurant, and we were served by a delightful waitress named Hulya. She was incredibly attentive and friendly, which truly made our experience special and memorable. Thank you so much! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant, and if Hulya is on duty, you’re guaranteed to have a wonderful time!

Despite reading the recent not so good reviews I decided to bring the family here to celebrate Mum's 98th Birthday. It was our first visit and chose this venue as the location looked lovely. The menu choices were quite standard, I chose a very good calamari and my brother had an excellent vichyssoise. For mains we went for the monk fish pork belly with several sides. All good and mains priced between £20-£30 as expected for such a venue. The staff were great and made Mum's day, especially when they brought out a nicely decorated dessert. I look forward to returning to this venue.

In the spring of 1979, I held my engagement party at this restaurant-hotel, and it was a fantastic venue back then. Over the years, I have visited this place multiple times. While the service was occasionally subpar, it was never as bad as it is today. We arrived at 2:15 PM on a Sunday afternoon and requested a table for four. The manager asked, "Do you have a reservation?" I replied, "Sorry, I don’t, but the place is empty." To which he responded, "You never know if it will fill up later!" It seemed he was unsure himself, but he clearly didn't want to accommodate us. We ended up sitting in the garden at the front of the hotel and ordered a few drinks.
