Fabulous old school historic place serving a wide range of beers,ales etc. The Bao bun Japanese inspired food is a welcome change from standard pub grub. Great staff and a lovely beer garden overlooking the water when the weather allows.

Ribs are a joke. Christ. 3 days trudging through the peaks, the meal here was like mannah from heaven. I'm not a religious man, but finishing that bao bun and those loaded fries off made me feel like I'd reached nirvana. Hats off to the chef. Peace. Voir le carte

Very nice at the pub with so many options of beer to choose from. The menu was a bit wacky but we soon got into it with options like classic boa buns and boa dogs and chicken wings and pork ribs and loaded fries and plenty of dips. Thr food was incredible.

Quite simply the best food of any restaurant I've been to this year, and probably last. Everything on the table was delicious and I tasted everyone's. It's so good, that the next time I drive to the lakes, I will make the 30 min diversion just to go there again.
