"We were on Thursday at the 60th. My mom's birthday in the flock and had a wonderful breakfast with guests. Because she is still so enthusiastic about it today, I would like to share the good experiences of her: the place was beautiful, the table festively covered and she could of course decorate her birthday flowers. "The mother-in-law will soon celebrate her 89 yearly. For this occasion we are looking for a suitable location in the vicinity. On the web we found the wine bell; the impression given there was quite positive. So we have prepared for a test dinner, we have reserved a table by phone for mother-in-law, my husband and me and appeared today at lunchtime in Eibelstadt. Usually there are about 20 parking spaces in front of the inn. Unfortunately not today! It was market day and the entire place was locked for sales stands, beer sets and music bands. So my husband invited us both at the lower city gate on the Main and searched for a parking space along the city wall for our vehicle. The restaurant has a covered terrace area on the market square, the guest room, a small space in the lower intermediate floor and a vaulted cellar. There are about 60 guests in the house; from there, some 20 people can sit. At our arrival a few guests were present, which should change very quickly. There was only one power for all areas, which had to do everything, from greeting, ordering, the counter service, including drinks, food delivery and cleaning. The lady really tried to do everything as soon as possible, but ultimately she was just overloaded. Your own, therefore, a VERY GUT; the boss of a lack of personnel division... but ONLY A STERN! On average therefore 3 stars! She assigned us a larger table, which was reserved for two more guests. For us it was OK; we had room enough. The maps were completed and we received sufficient time for studying. The offer can be read on the website of the house. Yes! The prices on the web are NOT up to date; in reality, most of the dishes are now much more expensive on the map. The mother-in-law was pleased to find her favorite food on offer; the Franconian wedding dinner (beef with horseradish sauce, cranberries and band noodles) and also as a senior portion for €12.10. My husband today had the pleasure of pork roasts with monasteries and wine berry sauce; this was calculated at €10.90. For me there was a small supplement salad at 3,00 € and the wine noodles for 9,50 €. On drinks we had 1x Silvaner 0.25 ltr to 3,20 €, 1x Johannisbeer juice choir 0.50 ltr to 3,40 € and 1x wine choir (Müller Thurgau) sour 0.25 ltr to 2,40 €. Our dishes were brought together after a reasonable preparation period. Later arrived guests were revealed, however, that they would probably have to plan more than 40 minutes waiting time. The mother-in-law received a lush senior portion that she did not manage. The horseradish was prepared to her in person; otherwise she was satisfied with the food. My husband got three slices of pork roast with two mini dumplings and a lot of fried sauces in the many small grapes swam. His Opinion: Tastes OK, but the Sosse and the dumplings reminded him of finished products. My supplemental salad was first brought in a bowl. It was well assembled and prepared with a very good taste dressing. The main dish, the wine noodles were saturated and provided with plenty of sauce. The vegetables, in particular the cauliflower, were very bit-resistant to almost raw. The wine saucer? Sosse JA wine, where did he just fall? Overall, our sympathetic judgment for the food: DREI stars! Cleanliness: The toilets did not seem to have been cleaned today before the start of the business, and not only numerous textile fabrics were closed. Unfortunately, the place is not accessible either. Only the main guest room and the terrace are accessible on a level. The other guest rooms and toilets are all located in the cellars and can only be reached over many steps. The premises were not as tailored for our birthday party as we would have wished. Since most guests are over 65 or 80 years old, they cannot be expected to have the many steps in the vault cellar and the toilets. After the test dinner has not been so intoxicating, we unfortunately had to remove the inn from the potential locations. "Yesterday, October 18, 2020, we were three people to eat at da Ricci. Start with an antipasti plate mixed; for us three. 1 food: beef fillet with vegetables/potatoes, which was supplemented by an additional order with pifferlings. 1 food: veal fillet with pepper cream sauce with vegetables/potatoes. 1 Food: seaweed with mixed vegetables/potatoes. Table: Tiramisu and Panna Cotto both homemade. 2x dry red wine and water. Espressi. The Grappa, ripened in the barrel, we got from the boss. It was just delicious! It's like a hundred times before. And for those who did not feel good..... Yeah, I understand that too. Where people face each other, it is human. I'm not the same every day, I know very well. And have to do with many people of different social strata every day. I'm trying my best thing I can't always do. Mr. Durro had a young man in service some time ago (years), who performed his job full of joy. He has also recommended wines that tasted just as well according to our descriptions, while enjoying. Why he isn't there anymore.... withdraws my knowledge. Ms. Durro is trying her best. Everyone is different. However, food is fantastic. And here you feel the love of cooking. Perfetto! By the way... the pizzeria mentioned here in the reviews is that of the Durro family."

"Essen ist ok Service sehr enttäuschend und unfassbar. 2. runde Getränke bestellt nach 30 min kamen diese nicht worauf wir bezahlen wollten der Herr erklärte uns das er diese nicht stornieren könne da er diese sonst selbst bezahlen müsse da die Getränke schon eingeschenkt wären. Wir erklärten uns dann bereit diese eben zu nehmen worauf wir wieder 15 Minuten warten mussten. Erklärten aber auch das wir trotzdem bezahlen möchten. Meine Tochter (2 Jahre) wollte ein Eis. Antwort vom Service „wenn ich Zeit habe“ sie bekam ihr Eis nicht!!! Unsere Getränke waren leer bezahlt hatten wir immer noch nicht. Wir forderten nochmals auf die Rechnung zu bringen worauf recht unfreundlich reagiert wurde, das man bedingt dadurch das wir 9 Personen mit 4 Schlemmerblöcken ja schließlich alles mit dem Taschenrechner ausrechnen müsse. Naja gut wir werden auf jeden Fall die Herrschaften nicht mehr mit unseren Wünschen BELÄSTIGEN."

"We sat on Terasse (street)Lärm, from which others wrote, we could hardly perceive. The ambience lies between original and cozy, the art of the kitchen offers a level that I would wish in a perfect of all normal inns. The service was friendly and accommodating and after a negligent mistake was immediately offered a coffee on the house or another digestive apparatus. The cows are quite suspicious and rightly identified as a recommendation in the Michelin leadership. For both, the dressings offer something for the eye without being overcrowded and the taste offers good and harmonizing nuances of each product. (Rehcarpaccio scored through the individual components, the truffle swamp actually truffle and not only oil and also the acidic frying was delicate and had a specially set sauce recognizable). The price, which is quite higher than in the traditional inn with the 9.80 EUR court, can still be seen. Those who want to eat good and tasty want excellent products on the plate and want to enjoy service and ambience (what exactly wants to be paid), also have to be ready for more price! The Gasthof Schiff combines successful food at a good value for money!"
