"My wife and I chose this restaurant on the strength of a recommendation of a TripAdvisor contributor and we are glad that we did. The restaurant is not easy to find. It is situated on a retail park probably a mile from the centre of the town. We walked, as we didn't have a car, but a taxi would be a better option if you're not into walking. The restaurant is situated on the top floor , there is a lift, of a rather ugly building, but don't be put off. On entering the restaurant we were surprised to see how busy it was, always a good sign. Obviously they have few English speaking diners as our arrival produced a flurry of activity and we were introduced to the chef Mario "who speaks English".Mario is the guy who will prepare your pizza and cook it for you in the pizza oven in the centre of the restaurant. We were shown to a table and Mario left his oven to help us interpret the menu. We had an excellent meal which was topped of with complimentary glasses of schnaps. The service had been attentive and friendly and we will certainly go back to eat at Restorante Palazzo the next time we are in Memmingen."

A place to spend 2-3 hours, with good fresh food we have especially enjoyed the tomato soup, very creamy and well served, with the accompanied bread cubes

We were sent here by the hotel receptionist, she recommend it. We weren't disappointed. We were tired and hungry. One lasagne, quattro staggione pizza, a mixed salad, a couple of beers and a glass of red wine. Hey presto two very happy customers. Staff and service excellent. We cannot fault it.

this was my first choice to go always.....the staff is so good there.....i always enjoy pizza and red wine there......my fav place was upstair......i liked this place that i even had my farewell party also there......they make pizza in front of you...open kitchen makes you feel more hungry...and food is really yummy.......must visit place...

It was a random choice of the restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised. We had no reservation for dinner, but we were lucky. The waiter found us a free table, although restaurant seemed to be full (maybe because it was Saturday). We can recommend their pizzas that were delicious. The dough was thin and crispy. Beautiful atmosphere and attentive staff.

This is a bit a strange place, but they have excellent pizza heated in an oven with wood. It is located in an industrial area near the A96 motorway, so ideal if you are on the way and in for a fast stop. The Bruschetta was also excellent, one of the best I ever had. I wanted to give 5 stars, but the spaghetti Carbonara... The sauce was moved and the meat there was quite hard. You have a terrace with view (and noise) of the A96 motorway... We go back to pizza

I was just passing on the highway through Memmingen and found the Palazzo on TA, located close to a highway exit. It is located in an industrial area in the building of a fitness center but the interior design lets you forget the location.It seemed quite busy for a Wednesday evening and reservations might be advisable. Service was very friendly and fast, you will receive your main dish before you can finish your starters. My pizza was OK but I would not chose shrimps as a topping.Definitely not exceptional but good for a casual dinner with fair prices.
