"Bring in Berlin for a business trip, I came by this wonderful looking, elegantly decorated restaurant-cafe-shop. I ordered espresso (properly made) and enjoyed the park view. The service was quick and discreet. I enjoyed my coffee and decided to try a Greek omelette ('strapatsada'). Well cooked, excellent taste, generous portion, served in a minimalist-Greek new-traditional kind of style. Though on a tight schedule, I spent at Rises more time than planned and I enjoyed every minute of it. There are also some products that I assume are for sale though I haven't bought any. Strongly recommend this place for a cafe, something to nibble and (if not on a business trip and a relatively tight schedule as I was) maybe for a drink and a Greek 'meze'. Well done to the owners!"

I had a greek salat, a musaka and greek yogurt with pistachios as dessert. It was delicious. Looking forward to going back soon!

Homemade and esthetical served food in a beautiful cosy location. Even the products there like e.g. tea or coffee and olive oil or the meat are super high-quality! And of course good wine :-)

A great relaxed restaurant, run by a very friendly couple from Crete. The food (I was there with a Greek friend) is great - a small menu of very tasty food, things like salads, tzatziki, freshly baked pastries, mousaka. A great find so close to Mitte. They also have a few nice Greek wines.Highly recommended.

What a lovely place! Authentic food at any time of the day. we just keep coming back for their regular dishes as well as specials of the day. So delicious!! Feels like being back home in Greece. Bonus: if invited to a dinner party/housewarming etc get a bottle of their thyme honey vinegar or any other delicacies they sell in the adjacent store.

Mrs Valli and her wonderful partners prepare a few traditional Greek meals every day, using the best possible materials, either local, or coming from selected producers from Greece.We will breakfast, lunch or dinner there at least once or twice per week, because it is always excellent food and reminds us of back home.One can also take food home, or buy all kinds of products that the restaurant also uses for cooking.Everything in Rises speaks for the personal care that the owners give to their guests.
