The staff, food, and drinks were all outstanding. I highly recommend the flu buster tea; it was delightful. Service was for dine-in during brunch, and the price per person was between £1–10. Overall, I rated the food, service, and atmosphere all as 5 out of 5.

"My wife and i visited Brohmom for our 17th Anniversary and from start to finish we found the whole evening enjoyable the food was unbelievable tasty with lots a flavour. We are from Colchester so not from the area and so glad we made the journey, its such a shame there is not this type of place in our area. "So i was ordered to right this review by a young lady named Fran, and since it seemed like she may have had military training I'm inclined to follow the order!!! Came here about 5 years ago with a friend and it quickly became one of my favourite spots on my through travels. Since I've been brining friends and worm groups everything I'm in the area. Can't get enough of this place !! Friendly ....great food great service, feels like home away from home."

"After months away from Stortford I had a wonderful meal at Zara’s on Tuesday September. Although a wedding party was taking place the restaurant they graciously accommodated our table of eight. The service was excellent, the food exquisite. I had been looking forward...to the lamb hiri mirchi and it certainly didn’t disappoint. All the dishes were tasty and so subtly spiced and expertly prepared. A great evening was had by all."

"Excellent food but a curious staff attitude. Reserved a table on “Open Table” and arrived to a cold lifeless reception. The restaurant was not full but we were shown to an awkward table between the main traffic flow and a table of six guys in dirty work attire, thanks but no thanks we will have that nice romantic big table over there… much better! Do staff not think what does the customer want? Who wants to sit there? Good food well presented and tasty. Decent wine list. All hand sanitisers were empty and dirty. The toilets need a damn good cleaning. The whole place needs a revamp, poor lighting, no background music and it feels like a school dining room with pictures. We would return but only if no where else was available, previous reviews are much too generous in their comments and lack any critical review. We rated it 5/10, could do much better and be much happier."

"I love this restaurant, haven't been for a while, came for tea Love the new decor The meal itself was a bit of a let down , my favourites have gone off the menu. We ordered a starter to share it was fantastic 10/10 I ordered a chicken and mushroom dish as a main it was served luke warm so I asked if they could heat it up for me which the server did, I like mushrooms but I didn't like getting a mouthful of grit with every mouthful, was very disappointed) as we have eaten here many times and never had a disappointing meal before Next time I visit Bishop Stortford I will return but just not order that dish Staff were great as always"
