"As part of our holiday the hubby likes to have a mystery stay somewhere, we travel as far as we can before trying to find somewhere to stay overnight. We managed to find this little hotel restaurant called Hotel Angelo as we had not...booked we were lucky as they had accommodation for the evening which was €80 including breakfast which is a continental breakfast. Monday Friday is €80 and weekend €90 there is free WiFi however we we were the connection was not good however in the restaurant it was ok. We had an evening meal which was nice I had a pizza and my hubby was being persuaded to have the specials you the hotel owners Angelo, hubby had a prawn salad starter which for €14 was a bit expensive and not what he expected. Hubby then had spaghetti Angelo which I have to say was very tasty. Hubby was then convinced to have a dessert which was wait for it another special this was prepared at the table by Angelo strawberries, ground black pepper, chilli flakes, cream, sugar with a splash of Pernod and a glug of Gran Marnia mixed together very flamboyantly served with two scoops of ice cream very tasty worth every penny €8.50. Angelo then followed this with Grappa and I had a large shot of neat vodka I have to say the measures do not exist. Angelo is the proud owner of his shell designs which he does himself and has several hundred of them"

"Lorsque nous sommes arrivés avec notre fils d'un an et demi, nous avons dit que nous étions 3. On nous montre une table pour deux. Nous demandons donc une table pour 3. Au moment de commander, je demande une modification de plat en raison d'une allergie, un changement que j'avais déjà fait dans ce même restaurant pour le même plat. Le serveur me répond immédiatement que ce n'est pas possible sans demander à la cuisine. Je précise que j'ai déjà fait ce qu'il me répond et il prend note. Demander en cuisine lorsque l'on ne sait pas, au lieu de répondre non, pourrait être plus professionnel ! Pour le repas, nous félicitons le chef ! Très bon, équilibré et savoureux comme toujours. Bons moments dans l'ensemble."

"On m'avait conseillé ce restaurant, il fait un peu restaurant "à l'ancienne" vu de dehors mais je ne regrete pas d'y avoir été. Nous étions quatre et on nous a installé dans la petite veranda, ça a été tout a fait charmant.Le personnel est charmant et ont est bien acceuilli. Les vins étaient tres bon, la cuisine excellente. Il est noté sur la carte qu'ils attachent un grande importance à la qualité des produits proposés et qu'ils font du "fait maison". Ca se ressent dans l'assiette.Nous y retournerons, c'est sur."

"Very good pizza, the dough is thin. She was baked in a real stone oven. Very delicious. However, the edge could rise a little more, as the dough otherwise reminds a little of a flame cake. I think it's great that the pizza is so thin, but with the lack of the airy edge. The staff was very friendly. All Italians. However, the ambience could be a bit more cozy and Italian. The prices were good. Everything in a good pizzeria. Also good for order."

"Mit Abstand das beste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Saarbrücken und Umgebung. Ich esse regelmäßig hier und erfreue mich jedes Mal aufs neue an der Herzlichkeit und der Qualität der Speisen. Die Negativ Bewertungen sind mir ein absolutes Rätsel. Ich kann es mir nur so erklären: Wer fettiges Fast-Food von der Imbiss-Bude erwartet bzw. gewohnt ist, wird vermutlich enttäuscht werden. Wer jedoch Lust auf eine frische und auf den europäischen Gaumen angepasste Asia-Fusion Küche hat, wird definitiv auf seine Kosten kommen."
