"Ein Geheimtipp für Genießer fantastische traditionelle Küche, modern auf den Teller gebracht und für Gaumen und Augen eine echte Wohltat! Für jeden ist etwas dabei, ob vegetarisch, Fisch oder Fleisch .. Hier spürt man, dass das Handwerk gelernt ist und ganz viel Leidenschaft im Betrieb steckt! Wir waren schon das 2. mal im Rössle und sind mal wieder herzlich empfangen worden! Auch das Frühstück ist toll mit frischen Eierspeisen und Früchten, Joghurt, knackigen Brötchen und guten Kaffee aus der Kaffeerösterei Bühl! Übernachtet haben wir in einfach ausgestestatteten Zimmern, die dennoch gemütlich sind und sehr bequemen Betten! Wir werden wieder kommen! Danke für alles !"

"My daughter and I visit this area of the Allgau every year (8 years now) for skiing and on every trip we try out a new restaurant. I know Nesselwang quite well and I looked on Trip Adviser - picking Baren as it had such good reviews. The premesis itself are marvellous, very tidy and warm and full of local bits 'n' pieces - also the restaurant was full (6.45 p.m. Friday night) a good sign. We found room for 2 and viewed the menu over a Dunkel Weissbier / coke. The choice was quite large, I ordered the steak 'madagaskar', daughter had a Lasagne. It was now that we realised there was only one waiter serving about 40 - 50 dinners, he was rushed off his feet and sweating profusely! I would suggest that staff had let them down as nowhone could work on his own at this rate for too long!Eventually, the meals arrived - both were ok but nothing special, I had to tear at the steak as no steak knife was produced (I noticed others 'tearing' at their food). The real issue was that the waiter had very little time for the guests and serve in a proper fashion - he was 'fire-fighting' all evening.I can only review what I experienced and I'm sure that the majority of reviews are accurate, however on this evening it did not go too well, though I would probabably try Baren again on another occasion."

"had an salat with (5) scampis for 15 euro. salat us in particular the salatsoße were very tasteful. was too much mais in salat. scampis was salted. brot to salad dry and not edible. Knockdip tastefully like tubenmayonaise. in total very sweet.I had been thinking about the bad preparation on demand from the waitress. salat was almost completely returned. was still completely billed. there was also no compensation offer (e.g. dessert or coffee) or an apology. therefore my assessment applies to the personal."
