"The title of my review and the rating might be contradictory I agree. I think the food at Plaka tastes very good and if you are in the area and want to have Greek then I would even recommend it. However I have to compare it with original food from when I was in Greece and you also have to keep a differentiation with the very very good restaurants. Food: The food here is very good for the price/quality range that this restaurant operates in. One minus point is that in my sauce I had a hair in the middle of it. They immediately appologized and brought me a new one so all was ok. But you know that feeling once you found something never really goes away... Atmosphere: The atmosphere is ok. Nothing special but you can feel cozy in it. Staff: Very very friendly staff and quick too. Conclusion: If you are in GIlching and want Greek food then this is the place to go. I would recommend it for you if you are looking at something mid-range and the quality to go with it."

Great choice of greek food. I recommend the fried calamari rings. They usually offer the guests a free shot of Ouzo before lunch.

The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly attentive. We ordered chicken rice, gyros Greek salads. Lovely presentation and great service.

Des gyroscopes formidables. Très bon service. Places assises à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Les gyroscopes du déjeuner sont accompagnés de salade et de riz. Non servi avec pita mais grande portion. Délicieux Voir le carte

A really great place, the food was delicious. We had a language barrier and the waiters were patient and served us well. Price was within the average for a good German restaurant, not too cheap but not abusive either.

We had a late dinner with a very large rowdy group of friends after a live music performance in town. The setting of this restaurant is quite appealing, with a large terrace which unfortunately closes after 10PM to accommodate the neighbors grievances. I had a great time with friends, but the food or service did not leave me a durable impression either way. I'd gladly come back for a second opinion.
