"What an absolutely brilliant experience! We were lucky enough to treat ourselves to a few nice meals while in Edinburgh and Martin Wishart was easily the best. Friendly and perfect service, tasty food and flexible menus with great wine pairings. What's not to love and I look forward to returning when I'm next in town! Beware the roads nearby are easy to get lost/stuck on, due to building work!"

Amazing experience. Will definately repeat. We went for the a la carte menu and the food was outstanding both in taste and quality. The staff were attentive and knowlegable, helping us choose. Special thanks to our Spanish wine waiter!

Food was superb as it always is service could have been sharoer and our drinks were a little on the warm side aperitif could have done with more ice and bottle of Chablis had to be decanted and put on ice to cool it down ... surely at a restaurant of this calibre white wine should be cold? The vegetarian tasting menu was a delectable culinary experience. It was well paced, extremely well crafted, and just delicious. Each dish was creative and sophisticated without being pretentious. Service was attentive, the dining room nicely decorated, and the final bill reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to return on our next visit to Edinburgh.

The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Everything is well done, from the river front to the coat hanging to the sweet birthday card on the table along with a treat at the end of the meal since this was an outing for my birthday. They absolutely deserve the Michelin Star as the chef creates tasty, original dishes with a classic French twist.
